Hi guys

Went of a short holiday nearly a month, refreshed and ready to go, before I went I started a new project. In earnest I have continued work on the new project.

New project is all about warehouses.While I didn't do much before going on leave, progress has been steady, and should explode in the next couple of days and weeks.Also decided to lock the old thread as it was too large to manage and read every post and screenshot.Expect another massive release soon, and another large thread to work through I have some surprises lined up again.

Some more tweaks, while the tweaks and additions will not even be noticed by the player or user alike, it finishes off the roof nicely, the jury is still out, on the support beams in the middle of the warehouse.6400 square feet of prime warehouse space available soon

Thanks guys been off sick the last two weeks, some one decided it would be fun to give me a a double kidney and bladder infection.

Have added a few more, some different coloured ones will be nice now with the bases meshes done, simple texture swap outs.



Have a couple more tricks up my sleeve

This looks excellent Wizard! I've been playing a STALKER Shadow of Chenobyl as of late and I can see how a lot of these assets could be utilized as abandoned facilities in a post apocalyptic scenario.

Decided the hell with it, I am going to do a scifi isometric kit.Likely going to be busy with this for the next two months or more then so be it. So this is going to be epic fun again.Regardless of there being no character support, it's likely by the time I am done it will be ready so who knowns


Busy getting the rough idea, sketched out, The design will follow the scifi corridors design and texture layout, maybe some new textures thrown in will see.Definitely going to add separate rooms to add and such as it's easier without having to worry about snapping a roof as well would have liked to add the vents from the original, but that could be problematic so will have to wait and see.

Messing about with a open source texture, to get some ideas for baking my own textures, was thinking about a grey clean metal layout, but a green, with some black metal would do very well, perhaps a scheme of darker grey mixed in to balance things a bit.

I am not sure what I am getting my self into, with baking own textures, but as always willing to push the envelope.

Found it easier to add a base texture and work your way from there, adding light sources is fun

thanks for the heads up on this. yes you do have scifi characters that you can use for this and I have the projectile that can give it life. I will reveal this soon to the forum as I'm thinking way outside the box on this. but I like the lights and everything so keep going.

Some thing I am toying with and testing while the animation isn't perfect need to tweak the FPE frames.It will look great when done, instead of just a static enviroment, some machinery, arch and other things should make it interesting.

Wasn't entirely happy with the single passage gap that was left, filled up the gap, now you don't get that sudden drop off.Much better.

In action, all things considered, some steam and some space zombies Will be replacing the place holder floor, with some thing new, dark and broody to fit the theme.Then onto the additional rooms and the finally some doors, and additional animated objects, some crates and we should have a nice little scifi map going.

you are a damn beast here take my money. I am so glad I suggested this to you. this will be put to good use and all this work will not be for nothing. I will buy this on day one. also other will soon jump on the band wagon after my projectile release once Lee make a small fix to the weapon system. told Lee about the fix so he added to his list. now with this scifi level project on the go I plan to encourage Lee to want to make the fix happen soon. project 3rd person will be release after. also it might be easier for you to release this as a two part set. meaning once you are done with this set then you can sell it as is and work on a new set after. I want to promote this pack with my game as well promote project guru and get this engine moving forward. once people see you can create something else beside a first person game with guru it gain more of a positive look of interest to guru.

I don't think I will be doing it in parts, will be one large set all at once, would like it to be the de facto standard for scifi top down shooters. Lee is aware of this project.What I really need for this project is a working 3rd person flash light that casts shadows, as well as fodg of war. As I am looking at making a space zombie game for a change.

So yeah definitely exciting, any ways quick video showcasing an additional version of the first door, you may notice it is using the autodoor script, perhaps Will need to adjust the animation speed a wee bit for it to open faster.

Not sure the black floor works well, but definitely a step in the right direction will play around some more see what I can do to improve the overall look.

Green floor theme, with green door, and the floor patterns match as well, meaning there will be no odd overlap.Will be adding a green themed window as, with the green and orange floors.Also added the new darker black floor.

Multi layered dynamic entities is my new approach, decided the animated arches needs a little some thing.So I created the meat grinder. Looks totally awesome might add a 3rd layer as well.

I am blown away - your work is incredible, wiz. This is really good stuff. I love the isometric stuff, and the scifi looks really cool. Really like the buildings, large warehouses are very usable and can be repurposed into a lot of things.

Keep up the fantastic work, I wish I still had time to produce content.

The mission for the weekend is getting the second level up and running, the problem here is that the outside walls on the second level needs to flow neatly into the bottom level and look natural no small feat.So going to be fun to see how that goes down, Visually it should be interesting to see if there will be issues which might mean a single level instead of two, but I am sure it will work.
