Triple screens! Awesome. Yes I know I'm going back a while but its just like my Dev work station.

Not being creative like you I like to carve up and merge models and it's fun and gets something reasonably quick up and running.

However you can do it from scratch from your imagination?

Cheers.

Thank you!!

Hey cybernescence!

Haha! I just have a 1600*900 laptop

Most models I make, yes.
I do however like to use screenshots or reference ideas for more complex stuff and then make abstractions of that.

Hello again!

New stuff!

Cyberpunk Health Injector

This is a powerup injector for acythian. There are several booster modules as can be seen below.
You can read more about it here!

Cyberpunk Injector Modules

Vent-Pillar! I needed more accessories that aren't entirely covered in rust but only slightly worn. Ah! The worries of leveldesign

Vesna Anathol 3 SMG

Another mesh mod using parts from BSP and EAI. This is a modernized PPSH. I'd balance this weapon to play just like the SMG in half life.

Feedback, criticism and ideas are always welcome remember to either write me a PM or hit me up in Skype if you want to purchase any of these, if you are looking for a 3d designer or if you just plainly want to talk game design!

Looking good, Man! Keep it up! I don't know why but I'm particularly drawn to that curved architectural piece a page pack.

Thanks people!

With EAI showing his studio style stuff, cosmic prophet being back in the game and uzi idiot workin' on new shader magic I do feel a little dwarved BUT I too made a few new thingies. Here they come:

For my game Acythian I have to light up large, oppressive, industrial cyberpunk- levels so there can never be enough variations of lightsources.
These in particular can be connected to some kinda generator and then used anywhere. They are designed to look like futuristic excavation lights.
Click for a higher resolution (as always)

Rectangular props that might not look like much but come in handy all the times when designing a level. You always have to fill that corner or block that area with something that doesnt explode your poly-budget

The Mahegan Agent with an integrated silencer.
I've used BSP's WW2 Pack Luger, updated model and texture and added some more modern touches to it.
Another chapter in my ongoing just-for-fun project to modernize WW2 weapons.

The freestanding lights have a great shape to them. They could maybe use a bit of edge weathering definition on the feet and corners to really make them pop.

Reminds me of this or this.

Thank you EAI, and you are right, inconsistent wear and tear is kind of a through and through problem with all of my scifi media.
The links you posted have sent me onto a little google search, I had no idea that people are actually modernizing WW2 weapons in such great numbers. Some of them look really interesting. Others nearly indistinguishable from actual modern weapons. Its obvious that the core concept of automatic weapons has barely improved but I was still surprised!

Now for something I made a few weeks ago for a larger scene I was working on. Its nothing spectacular, just some background buildings with a barely servicable texture but hey! it looked better in action than I expected. I'm posting this here because after I return from my break I'll probably do higher quality work than this and it would be odd to then lump it in between.

Unfortunately, this model (including the map) has been lost during my OS reinstallation but it would be easy to recreate if someone would want to request a set of these.

As always: Thanks for checking out my work.

Hey gang!

After taking a longer break from everything game design I'm glad to say that I'm back in the middle of things. I had some time to ponder my past projects, replay a few of them and see what I want to do in the future. I think I'm having a far more interesting approach to game making now and I hope it will be more fruitful than before. And blaa blaa : I also make some models, check them out:

Mushrooms to populate my overgrown cave levels. They hold up even when scaled.

Regular Pillars I made for a specific demo level I meddle with.

This thing. Its some kinda swamp plant thing. I don't know either...

Simple Magical Props that can be used as lightsources, wherever lit torches would not make sense or items.

* * * *

The aegydian weapon pack has sold rather often on the GCStore. So I felt inclined to make a new set :

Hyraldian Ceremonial Short Sword

Hyraldian Sword

* * * *

Mesh Mods!

I took the liberty to modify Bugsy's latest rigs. Touch up on the textures, swap some sounds, modify the meshes. Here is what I got:

Weapon: BSP
Handrig: EAI
Anims: Bugsy
Retex: Wolf

Weapon: the_unknown_one / Casper
Handrig: EAI
ACOG Scope: EAI
Edits: Wolf
Anims: Bugsynski

I have gotten no more requests for media in the last few months so I'm inclined to upload packs and stuff to the store again, this will however happen in a rather slow pace as I'm also trying to update my website. ...which is also taking way longer than I'd like.

Anywaysies! Please let me know what you think and remember to fire me a PM if you wish to buy something.

Godspeed!

Thanks gang! I'm working on a broader set of terminals right now in the same style.

The displays are mostly placeholder because I don't yet know if I want the interfaces and texts on them to be readable in game or low res as shown here.
I suppose that depends on how lazy I am and beta tester reactions later.

A bit of structural and architectural stuff for my current project.

There are worn and less worn versions of these as the levels frequently shift between more and less active areas as well as more and less flooded ones.

You would need to put it in a modelling program and add edges between vertices to make it a quad or a tri.

Hi Wolf,
if you send me the models I can have a go for you but as Belidos says the only way is to 'loop' the offending vertices

I don't think that model is a flat/smooth shading issue, it looks to be more like an ngon next to the bottom right corner of each window.

Thanks for all your suggestions, luckily it was just an issue with the smoothing group so I didn't have to touch the actual model:

Thank you Granada!

Here are some more simple things I made for different levels I have been working on. They aren't particularly high in quality but I think these are good enough to be put here.

A set of monitor tables

Set of cylinders for a level.

Terrain. For a test to see if replacing GG's terrain with a hand made one will increase FPS and if it looks good.

The original mesh of this is by starmind...I just upgraded the texture.

Machinebox for a level.

A character I made back in 2013 for an older version of Shavra.

Now some of these are only here for completion and diversity sake. I want to get back into doing some quality stuff soon that will then also be sold on the store. Its been a while since I released a full pack on there.

Thanks for checking these out!

Datac fiches

I can use these to decorate scifi office areas or as items. When I scale them down they also work for keycards.

Large Tech Pillar. My levels have a lot of very machinery heavy areas and people notice when I repeat the same models too much so I gotta improvise some new designs. This is one of them.

Examples

As usual I also create alternative versions. Here are some more impressions from the new machine:

Thanks for visiting

Hello! Whew! I see the last post was in August.
Time to dust this thing off with some new models:

Incubators, stasis pods, scifi batteries...these have many uses and I like how they turned out.

This one turned out a bit more ugly but they actually look pretty fitting when you put a bunch of them in an industrial type area. With 550 Polygons per piece its not too hard on the performance either.

New bar set, kind of similar to the one I released a few years ago. I'll probably need a few of these in my project. Of course this one also comes with a couple individual bottles.

Thanks for viewing and your opinion is as always very welcome
