Funny you'd say that I am just discussing with Rick changes to the site to include something like this or make it easier to find artists work. We will see what we come up with.

This sounds like a good idea. I look forward to this being a feature.

I'm trying to upload audio and I'm having trouble with the mp3 sample. I keep getting this error:

You did not upload a valid mp3 sample file! DEBUGaudio/mpeg -- mp3

I saved the sample straight from Audacity as a 10 second mp3 file. attached is the file. Any ideas?

The store page was like that for me for a few minutes and then reverted back so im assuming they were editing something on the page or adding something.

@henry ham

Is this fixed now we were changing a few things.

@wizard of id

We will see about fitting that in somewhere

Quote: "I'm trying to upload audio and I'm having trouble with the mp3 sample. I keep getting this error:"

What browser are you using and I will test and fix.

Quote: "I didn't even know it supported mp3; thought it was only wav or ogg?"

The engine is wav and ogg only but for browser previews we have to use mp3 and wav as they are the most widely supported across browsers at the moment.

We are aware of the issue it is a stupid IE bug it only supports MP3 audio formats for playback and even that doesn't work on some machines that are missing a compatible codec. Trying to find a work around for this as a high priority bug

Just wondering, when adding audio are you keeping the mandatory file to add a 1000px x 563px screen shot image?

Yes this is currently required for the store pages to generate correctly we may alter this in future.

Hi,

Please make the information for the sellers better!!

Idont noticed that my upload is not correct.

It would be great, if the seller get a message... not only there where you can edit the items.

I hope you understand what i mean.

And i have a other question:

why: The additional sub folder 'nomis3D' needs to be removed form the ZIP file. There should only be an 'entitybank' containing the models files. ?

It would be clearer.

But that's just my opinion.

thanks

When managing your store items it shows all the rejected ones as well (see image, the pink/red one are the rejected ones).

Perhaps it should just show the items that have been accepted?

You are meant to be able to edit your rejected items you do not need to re-upload them again from scratch, so normally this wouldn't be an issue.

I've noticed that if you have a (bought) model from the store, then it has a tick to the right of the rating stars where the number of points it costs is and when you click to view that particular model it says "item in pack you own" on the 'Store Home > Categories > Packs >' menu line.

This doesn't happen with bought audio, it still gives the points value and "Add to basket" when viewing the item.

One feature I'd like to see is some sort of notification system that e-mails you if new items are added to the store. This would be on a volunteer subscriber basis so only would e-mails those who opt-in.

For me, I'd be happy as a lark. But there's no reason why it couldn't be a notification system that you decided whether you got instant notification, daily notification, or weekly notification. Just like some forums have.
