When viewing models / audio is it possible to have a 'Date Added' in the details so we know when it had been uploaded?

hmm not all of it perhaps, but defo some of it or something else. i see building parts for what might be corridors or something?.

No its all there....Pick a Ward wall then scroll underneath to take you to the full pack !!



You can buy it 2000pts... Its not actually catagorised in the packs section yet though

So, it's out but not free to the pledgers? Any idea when it's going to be compiled onto a pack and ready?

Hi, we leaked it out a day early! The pack is now available to all Silver and Gold pledgers. Make sure you log out and back into the store to see it on the web. You can just try and download from Reloaded to grab the models.

Ya, my mistake in not mentioning the silver pledgers but as I am gold so I just didn't think of the other levels. I'm glad it is now ready and as soon as I get home from the hell that is work, I'm on it! Can't wait to what is in there!

@syncro, until some 3D editor is implemented, scroll in on the building until you break the roof line then try to set the item as beat you can. Then test it and see that it's not right. THEN, try to pick it up only to realize that you actually have the bu

The servers are operating normally the only thing I can suggest is to try again later and ensure your Antivirus programs are not blocking FPSCR from the internet.

How about as we add items there could be a dropdown list to select the model you want to grab....



That way inside a room would not be such a pain ....Just an idea

I've suggested features in feature Creep that would solve these issues. A combination of scene hierarchy, automatic property pane, and object layers would do nicely. Pretty much what you see in other game engines.

entity hierarchy would be so helpful, click it by name on the left and it takes the editor to the co ords of the entity, maybe even delete able from there aswell.

@wizard of id - downloading is improved in V1.007. So if you still have issues then wait till next week when the new version is released.



I have checked V1.006 and it downloaded all the models for me.

You should press 'b' twice to snap it all together, the nice thing about this for now is if you have to move a section to get at smaller items it's easy to move and snap back in place again. Press 'enter' to raise smaller entities to floor level.



You have to zoom in till the roof clips to see inside for now when placing entities.



I heard TGC say there would be a roof clip feature, pressing 'Tab', in beta 7, which will mean less hassle with placing, but not sure if this version will enable an easier way to get at small items shrouded by the larger.

Im also unsure how the item placing will work as say you have more that one level taking the roof off wont work and also will this work for custom models.



An idea is if you right click the item on the left bar it should select it letting you move it about.

I agree at least some method should be found sooner and something sorely needed now that smaller indoor props are being released

I have no idea how Lee is implementing this but at a guess its probably a camera clipping plane so would work with any model. Cant say for sure depends how he does it

Although I think the idea of some feature to clip off the tops of models has a use, I think the engine could benefit from just a simple picking algorithm that uses the z-buffer It would exclude the building automatically if you are zoomed into the interior. I've done this sort of thing with OpenGL. It takes some work to build the foundation for picking into the entity system, but is very accurate even on small objects.

Looking at the screen shots here on the TGC store...

Somehow they have managed to do it ?







for me to do that now is near impossible ....They must be doing it some other way...Or they have it implemented on a different build maybe ?



There are 5 models from the pack in that room.. and a skull on a table...Perhaps they are just renders ?

It's not the best way to do it, but it's not as hard as you think. They can place all those objects while inside the room and have them in a sort of correct position. Then move the building aside and adjust the objects more precisely. Then drag the building back in place. At least that's how I've been doing it.

I believe this is a complete render as you said we get it in parts. It isn't impossible but sure is annoying one wrong move and you have to do it again

Agreed. I have a question on a different note. As I was searching my library for all the hidden new stuff that i assumed would be in a separate folder as the downloads are from the store, I had placed one of each item into the map, the skull was on top of the sarcophagus and when i walked up to it, my frames dropped. I did some experimenting with it and just set it on the ground all by itself in an empty map and walked up to it. I went from 115 FPS to 45 FPS. What gives? Then I walked over top of it. If I stand on it, is when i get the massive frame drops to 4 FPS.

Ye I have noticed some models you walk up to and if your almost touching everything goes to jerkavision...take a step back and its fine



I did expect to find the horror pack in horror pack....Its kind of scattered about but no big deal

Just so you are all aware some of the models are buggy they were meant to be patched before release but they got leaked so we had to release the pack early. A patch is coming as soon as possible to fix any issues.

Having issues with the store, when i add something to my cart it adds it but then as soon as i change page even by clicking on checkout it says cart is empty which is stopping me from purchasing anything, anyone else had this?

Hi all,



V1007 will make it easier to move entities inside building, it's still WIP and does need some work, but you will be able to exclude the main building from the pick list very easily and work on the contents inside. We will expand on this feature in the future.

Well I can tell you it is impossible for the store to download weapons in V1.006 so you will need to wait for V1.007 until it could be released, I have seen it floating around

This is a known issue and we will be patching soon, to fix you can logout and then clear the sites cookies and it should work again.
