Nice looking loading screen, Like the man to monster bit at the end, and the placement of entities when playing don't think I've seen that before in GG.
I've had my fill of running around shooting things over the years, but I would give this a run through. Great work keep it up to the end and complete the game.

Thanks so much for your feedback 25-WATTS, I'll upload more screenshots when I arrive home. This game have 8 levels and its completed, I'm just trying to improve it as much I can before next GG update.

So far, looks promising.

So a few suggestions, if you're ok with that.

- Use static lights to get some shadows going for your indoor scenes.
- Use a gaussian blur on the phone, at least the screen portion. It looks unrefined at this point.
- Use a different font for the letter. You are using a fairly generic typewritten style but it's on lined paper. It doesn't mesh well.
Try something like this instead: http://www.1001fonts.com/otto-font.html
- Make the outside darker. I have tips on how to do this here: http://gamegurureport.blogspot.com/p/my-tutorialstechnique-evaluations.html (specifically the lighting guides).
- Lastly, keep at it. Don't lose interest because of my feedback or anyone else's! The longer you stick with this, the harder you work at it, the better it will be! You have a really solid start and I would definitely advise you keep at it.

Thanks mr. Bolt for your feedback! gonna check your guide and keep up the work!

Idea is to make the best zombie game possible, and if I have knowedge enough to convert critics here into game upgrades, and also if community help me, that'd be awesome!!

Looks like a big game with a story going on. I'm going to use a phone mobile screen in game, so it's good to see yours gives me some idea what it will look like.

I see you are using the keypads from JForthDesign as far as I know they still don't work with the save and load of Game Guru, I'm using them myself. If you save the game then go through a gate with a keypad, then return to that save game you will find the keypad not working and you can't get through the gate. You have to make a Standalone to see this, as they work fine in map making mode.

Hey guys,

Just re-opened this threat because I'm about to finish my game and want some feedback if possible. I made a gameplay about all the game, still in portuguese. If I get good feedback, I'll make english version and try steam.

I'd like to say thanks to all community that supported me going further into this engine.

It looks all in all good, but why the players hands are changing together with the weapons in the sixth level?I know that the weapons and the hands are merged as same model but looks little bit weird, i would advice you to rigg the hands.

A retro aesthetic might work but this blur certainly does not. This looks like somethings wrong with the settings rather than a creative choice.
I'd like to know what other users think though. Don't make it aggressively look worse so you don't have to edit entitie textures

@Wolf thanks so much for your feedback! I was running all settings on low and dividetexturesize=8 (was having some trouble with FPS on my notebook). About texture editing, is there a software recommended for editing textures? I'm using gameguru/store/free models, didn't make any 3d models nor edit textures myself yet.

Hud change is neat.

As for textures, aynthing goes as I don't expect anyone to completely rework them. Just some filters/recolors to make sure that your game has its own look and feel. Free software is "the gimp" (unrelated to BDSM) and Paint.net. I use Paint Shop Pro for everything which is very affordable

I can see a lot of work has gone into this, very interesting looking game. Once again a game that could use better lighting than GG currently can offer.

Some progress in my game: Making boss fights for each level.

I'll post a video from a boss fight thats going to be included in the map I'm going to release:

boss 1st phase: Melee fight;
boss 2nd phase: explode the barrel before biohazard reachs 300 (insta death);
boss 3rd phase: stay in the Blue Lightning to heal while inside mind assault, and kill the 3 monsters to finish the boss.

Good idea. Maybe it could evolve into a take on "Person of Interest"
meets "The Matrix" ? Find SAM-ar-IT-an to survive.
The machine will lead you. Don't get trapped in the simulations.

Heres a Bossfight from 1st level - GOTARDO. Its a quick fight, but if player dont keep range or dont fuel chainsaw, he might die.

Another bossfight - FLESHGRASP:

- Avoid Boss from being close. If hes close enough, he will grasp you and must hit E button to release and stun boss for a few secs.

great work the swarm caller bossfight.. but i think that the player nneds to shoot to the caller and not only at the summoned zombies

Heres the Bulletsponger bossfight:

- He takes almost no damage from bullets. His weakness is fire, and only 1 from the 4 barrels have the fuel amount enough to hurt him. Barrels will spawn when player walk tru the button on the floor.

@Wolf Yea, it was. But I turned back to the old shader again, since some players had problems to find stuff on map and strugle with ranged enemies.

Soon gonna open the game for beta test of the final build, hope all works fine
