Hi...

Now my copd caught up with me. I am in a serious exacerbation and can not get out. I have to first be patched up again with medication. I hope I can pull the whole shit a bit more. I spent a little time on vacation memories to distract myself. In places I manage that quite well.

Well .. I'll contact you again anyway. Until then, I remain the old LAFETTE ...

Thanks for the recovery wishes.
Now I'm back home. Everything is still in the green. I was pumped full of Prednisolone, let's see how long I still fit in the mirror. My holiday island still works quite well as a distraction. I'll mess around as long as I can . My plan is to create an island where you can walk around and relax. To do that, I'll have to put in a few suitable sounds that round it off, or make it more interesting.

If the opportunity arises, I will upload a small video again ...

I made a bit of my island again. A few sprites (palm trees) a surfing rookie, a windsurfer and a fishing boat that I do not really like. But whatever...

There is tons of great stuff in here. In particular I love the steam engine, the robotic arm setups and the many little details (like the guy trying to stay upright on the surf board) in your Island scene.

If I could pick out just one thing it would be the tree bases ..
Just a hint of raised ground and grass would make all the difference.

Nice that you like it. The thing with the bumps on the trees, I used about 80 percent sprites as trees for this video. I was even so cheeky to pack whole groups of trees into a sprite. It is also not finished yet. I just put it in quickly because of time and performance reasons. Of course you are right with the bumps. Maybe some rotting palm leaves and driftwood would be good. You could do some things as an overlay to save polygons. Mmh, I can not wait to go on .....

Hey, guys
I once again canceled a project. Isolaverna you can download almost all models. A few things are experimental like the fishing boat with the two sailors. You have to try a little back and forth. I'm not friends with the scripting, so I did it all with such universal stuff. Incidentally, I forgot to put the scripts in the folder. But come right after. I do not have pictures of the pack (about 50 objects), but there are all models in the videos available. Be happy with the stuff.

First of all thanks for the comments, you do not often get ...

I once put a small pack in the store. There's my robotic system in there.

Then I will occasionally offer my steam engine there and if I still have time, I bring my butcher shop also. I also wanted to find a few different objects in a collection box, but that's in the stars.

Hi...

I have just turned off my old steam engine in the store. It consists of 6 parts and is easy to set up. I have to take advantage of the good run and I will not be available again next month. Or only very sporadically.

Hi..
Some time ago I started to build a new medieval labyrinth as a kit. After a forced break, I can now continue with it. It will be similar to the mystic project. However, I have now created a few traps. I would also like to make other props from the time. Now I do not know if this is an interesting topic for some of you. In addition, there is also the collision problem with the animated objects, which I probably can not solve with my modest means. Actually, I would have to ask someone to do these things for me. And I still have so many ideas for stuff like that.

My current status:

To find out if this is interesting stuff, a few feedbacks would be nice.

..Andreas

Hi...
I have now forged some medieval weapons and rigged them easily thanks to Wolf. Among the weapons is also one with the hands of the fantasy pack. But I do not like the animations that much. I'll spend a bit more time with a bow, maybe a crossbow. But then I will see that. Until then...

Yes the animations are very simple, EAI's meele weapons do that little bit better, another problem is that they are not synchronised with the sounds.I made some nice sword animations but i could get them work for gg, i think i missed something in the bone renaming, if u want i can send u my meele arms with animations maybe u get them work.

Thanks, yes with the animations I have my fight so. I always mix everything up. If all this were so easy, I would have already created a whole arsenal of weapons. If I have a little more fun, I will probably offer the package as freeware, because I am not able to create the right hands to do so.

Im Waiting with anticipation on your traps.. Have you got the scripts sorted out with animation? i think there is a few ways, one is timer based with animation ie from frame 150 to 200 damage =50. Not done in lua but thats a basic logic. Another is physics based but maybe none animated. I am itching to get these into twin worlds, though they are awesome ...

Hi..

Hi..
The production of ancient objects is progressing. I have already finished a few kitchen utensils including the hotplate. In addition, a few silver things were zusammengebastelt. Everything in the green area so. The cave is almost finished. It can be seamlessly connected to the rest of the castle corridors. More about that next time. As a fire, of course, particles would be great. But with the amount of light I will not do without decals. I've learned a new procedure on this subject, where I think you can live well with them. Soon I will upload a sample decal to try.

Here again the comparison between real time and pre-baked. I had to use some tricks to make it look pretty good when baked.

Thanks Dave ..
However, I have some minor issues with the appearance of metallic objects. It just has to be turned on the settings too much, so it looks reasonably. Smaller metallic sections are not the problem. For example, I am busy with a knight's armor. In the end, I had to provide everything again with material in order to come to a satisfactory result. Well, what lasts long ...

Bad..., looks like a pair of plastic carnival helmets

A little better, you could take it for metal ...

Yes I no the feeling ,you always end up with the wet look I’m afraid.i have tried a few changes with no luck so far.it might stem from renaming pbr textures to suit GG I don’t no just guessing

https://forum.game-guru.com/thread/219411

Never did work this out but I don’t think it works in all cases

@Dave
Does that apply to all my objects or just the helmet? If all parts are affected, I have to buy ne ne graphics card. I can not see it that way.

But now howl. I have just completed my knight Runkel or his armor. Well, I put them outside, because the view was still ok, but since such armor rather in rooms or hallways stands around, I had to place them there. It is to despair, you just have to screw too much on the lighting, so it looks reasonably. What else can I do there? I tested 3Dcoat, there the unity and UE-setup, mmh ...
