FPSC and x10 were fun. But for some reason I could never get more than 2 levels to compile together. So what I did was, when the player completed level 1 he would be given a code.

And level 2 would require that code to start... and so on.

Far from ideal. No good for multi level games, but fun for a single.

I hope they retexture the new legacy characters. I had bikini girl back when it was x9. Her face is a bit retro/cartoonish and I suspect some of the others might be too. GG deserves better than 15 year old textures.

I've been thinking outside the box about the EBE. It occurs to me that it could be used not just for buildings but also to make other entities. I'm not talking about small intricate objects or dynamic ones. But maybe we could make items of furniture and sculptures, maybe rock formations, bridges and lots of scenery items.

I can't see any reason why not. Don't think it would be very good for detailed objects at present though or natural looking objects like rocks. Certainly good for simple items though.

I didn't know if I had missed it, thanks! I was hoping for at least a ballpark estimate. End of July, by Christmas, whatever. I was kinda working on my own little construction set in Blender that would allow fairly rapid building building (? ) until I saw the first Twitch of the EBE. I've been holding off ever since!
