Seriously though, I really wish I knew how to texture like that, everything I do looks very plain and drab, I just can't seem to get it to look so polished.

Well, I finished the first part of the corridors.
Unable to achieve full compatibility details in SnapMode. For GridMode objects are not suitable for this have to manually join the objects. I am very upset by this fact. I even created a special thread on the subject, but it seems that will have to leave it as it is.
Soon lay out 20 objects in a collection, so they share a common AtlasMap for all objects.

The size of the texture:
Diffuse 4096x4096 (DX5)
Normalmap 4096x4096 (DX5)
Specular 4096x4096 (DX5)
Illumination 4096x4096 (DX1)
Look at UVmap.


I upload in this resolution, and you can resize themselves as you see fit. With a resolution of 2048x2048 also looks good.
Objects HiPoly. I tried to reduce the number of polygons as he could, that would not lose quality.

Here is a video that I recorded on my feeble laptop with a video card NVidia 620M.

Your Medieval weapons - great job!
I can not deal with the player's arms. I have so many ideas.
Nowhere is there a complete process guidance. Well, maybe I just did not find.
And I would love to do more, and weapons. SciFi weapon - so many possibilities! Big omission GG - is the inability to create a beam weapon, it is to be seen flying a plasma beam.

(NB)_Block_(A1 1x3) ---- the FPE file for this model has colliisionmode = 11 this should be 1 i think as 11 turns off the collision completely.

I wondered why I was walking through the wall, this might be the case for other corridor sections too.

Yes you are right.
All objects corridors, there are no collisions.
I have done so deliberately, because that models are too many polygons. , In the shop, in the description of the corridors, I recommend using invisible walls to determine collision.
I think I need to do its own set of low-poly invisible walls for these corridors.

Still, most of the models of these corridors are not joined in GRIDMODE and SNAPMODE. I was not able to achieve full compatibility.
Due to the non-standard sizes are not joined in GRIDMODE.
A SNAPMODE behaves quite strange to them.
I tried a lot of options. And sets them to the common center, and is equal to the corners. Does not help.
We have to be manipulated by hand.
I've been saying that GRIDMODE much needed additional mode a grid size.

FIX - FOR SCIFI CORRIDOR COLLECTION
Added objects "invisible walls Corridor" to give objects a corridor for calculating the physical collisions.
If you purchased the package "SciFi block pack 2" or "ARTIST PACK TWO", up to this date (12/08/2016), I recommend to remove all objects with a prefix - "(NB)_" in your folders that are inside this directory - "entitybank / purchased / oldpman". and redownload this collection.
So as fixed FPE for object - (NB) _Gate_ (static).

(NB) gate animated, this seems to disappear, I can open it ok, but when I close it, it vanishes after it has closed fully, but collision still working, any ideas.
