Hello everyone. Thank you very much for your feedback. I really appreciate it, and it motivates me to further work and more effort.
I promised big update models for the second part of the package by the end of this month, I must say that so far it has been postponed. The fact that I was faced with the problem of combining objects in the GRID MODE and SNAP MODE.
Some objects just do not fit together with other unexplained reasons. GRID MODE can not be used as some objects smaller than than the size of GRID UNIT.
SNAP MODE behaves very strangely. I tried to install PIVOT POINT objects in the center and so is trying to displace them, as a result of some of the objects are joined with others correctly but others do not fit together at all.
Here are just some of the problems set by me for SNAP MODE.
Objects of the same size are joined together right along one axis but refuse to dock correctly when rotating 180 degrees.
Objects of the same size have a certain priority to each other at the dock without taking into account the smaller sites.
Here is an example:
Wall 100x5x100 units and corner wall 10x10x100 units are compatible with each other at first, but when rotating 90 or 180 degrees, they cease to be fully compatible. Further, when the junction angle with this wall and then try to add another portion of the wall to the corner patterns, the wall does not respond to a corner and is joined to only such same-size wall.
Now, if it were GRID MODE was partitioning the GRID into 4-5 size modes, eg 1 UNIT, 5 unit, 10 unit, 50 unit, 100 unit, it decided, would be a big problem during the docking facilities. In the meantime, I have to forget about the big update, and continue working on other ideas. Later, to cope with the disappointment I make a video with a demonstration of these problems.
Well, it will continue later.
Sincerely.
