Hello everyone. Thank you very much for your feedback. I really appreciate it, and it motivates me to further work and more effort.

I promised big update models for the second part of the package by the end of this month, I must say that so far it has been postponed. The fact that I was faced with the problem of combining objects in the GRID MODE and SNAP MODE.
Some objects just do not fit together with other unexplained reasons. GRID MODE can not be used as some objects smaller than than the size of GRID UNIT.
SNAP MODE behaves very strangely. I tried to install PIVOT POINT objects in the center and so is trying to displace them, as a result of some of the objects are joined with others correctly but others do not fit together at all.
Here are just some of the problems set by me for SNAP MODE.

Objects of the same size are joined together right along one axis but refuse to dock correctly when rotating 180 degrees.

Objects of the same size have a certain priority to each other at the dock without taking into account the smaller sites.

Here is an example:
Wall 100x5x100 units and corner wall 10x10x100 units are compatible with each other at first, but when rotating 90 or 180 degrees, they cease to be fully compatible. Further, when the junction angle with this wall and then try to add another portion of the wall to the corner patterns, the wall does not respond to a corner and is joined to only such same-size wall.

Now, if it were GRID MODE was partitioning the GRID into 4-5 size modes, eg 1 UNIT, 5 unit, 10 unit, 50 unit, 100 unit, it decided, would be a big problem during the docking facilities. In the meantime, I have to forget about the big update, and continue working on other ideas. Later, to cope with the disappointment I make a video with a demonstration of these problems.

Well, it will continue later.
Sincerely.

Another idea of my son. Anomaly.
Only I do not know how to activate the animation only when the player is close enough except looped animation.
The animation 1500 frames.

Can someone help with the script ?

I like that anomaly. Do you think you could do another one?, this time with the papers
not going down to the ground, just spinning round at a fixed height all the time, it would
be a nice addition.

I will do. Only the script will not write. I'm not good at this.

I can make a new animation and specify the purpose of frames segments - ie :
from 0 to 50 separation papers from the floor.
from 51 up to 1500 loopback rotation
You can write a script for yourself such what you need.

Thanks OldPMan. I,m not good at scripting also, but don't worry about that, as long as the
animation works nice, that will be ok for me. Thank you.

Those control panels give a very good 1960's sci-fi feel, aka "The Invaders"

David Vincent would be proud. If you can remember that TV series

I remember that,..made in 1967-1968, regarded as a bit of a classic these days, and rightly so.
If you are not familiar with it, "Google it", also Google "UFO TV Series", and "Space 1999",.......
lots of inspiration and ideas for you modelers for SciFi stuff.

Hi Belidos !
Thanks for the feedback. I also like your work. Great idea for a modular motel !

Hi synchromesh !
Attached file - abandoned.fpm
It is possible you will face the challenge of using my file.
The fact that all my models I keep in the "USER" folder.
And I think that my "FPM" will not work for you.

If it does not work:
Write me please the full path to your "abandoned hospital" inside "entitybank" folder.
I will create a new level using the correct path to the level you have worked. And then I will post it again.

I also like your Die Glocke !

Regards

Hi Tarkus1971 !

Yes, indeed, the best option is to use the "GRID MODE" for proper mating parts.
And AB_correctionBlock used to set the height of the details.

AB_correctionBlock - description:
To install the components of the second floor, first place them on the correction block, and then extract them and put them in the building.
If you need 3 or 4 floors, just put one correction block to another and can use it for height adjustment.

hi oldpman, welcome back

yes the hospital is a great asset, as a thought, something i havent seen for gameguru is a fairground pack, full of merry go rounds, stalls, rides etc, of course derelict. Anyone know of anything like that.

Keep up the great work oldpman.

Thanks Oldpman .... I just created a temp path the same as yours and I was able to see the it...

I did use snap but didn't realise you still had to manually lower parts to the floor ... I thought maybe a skirting layout was missing
Now I see how it should be ...

A though had crossed my mind with land of the giants idea. If only there was a way to scale up objects easily rather than use the FPE file, like a sort of
"Giant Mode" then you could fake the player shrinking, and trying to survive in a massive world.
Of course Custom "GIANT" assets would be awesome too!
