Thanks to this video I found out that you can get a ready made windows build from wicked github site.

wicked engine it seems is also available on Microsoft Store.

yes, I know, I build it when there are updates worth downloading/updating. It's been fun playing around with the terrain and object importer , weather system, effects etc
