Woke up the next day to see that the program is still downloading as I have slow internet here.
The core files itself is 15.2GB [at least for now].
I am now just a little apprehensive about future updates though naturally as this program is still in beta, I look forward to its completion.

Can I not have to go through this long download again ?
Like maybe the program will only update what is necessary or maybe even just a set of files to download, copy and override over ?
Thanks for reading.

you didn't need to download all 28 gig, just the core files would have done to start with which I think is/was around 9 gig. The DLC's are optional for a later date to download.

If you update all the files you will be good to go. Weekly updates during early access, has ranged from a few megs to 600megs-1gig, this should settle to a few megs for few months till they add RPG and puzzle to max, that will likely add some more content and stuff. If I have to guess unlikely to be more then 12-15gigs, and likely to be added weekly as the content and the elements become ready for RPG and puzzle.

The product is early access which means it sort in the weird alpha/beta cross over stage and will be for some time, most likely at least till early next year.

If you use steam it downloads everything and you have no choice.

If you use MAX updater you can decide which model packs you want to install.

Once installed updates will then only add new files or update existing ones that have changed no matter which method you are using.

It is nice to see you again OldFlak, back then I wanted to try GameGuru back in 2019 but stopped because there was only a Steam version, you were there agreeing with me I remember you

What a nice ending that GameGuru Max now have a none Steam version, that's why I can try it
