Hi, i'm glad to report this,

GG Max is working in Linux with Steam with out any problems so far.

Os: Linux Mint 20.3.

Really, I'm baffled, thought it was windows only. Well if true I might give it a whirl.

Good to hear, have you set any special options in steam for this to work well?

- Zorin 16 (latest updates), based on Ubuntu

Emulation Settings:
Proton (latest) -> App hangs on loading screen (using public release and alpha built)
Proton (7.0-1) & (6.3) -> Editor crashed without any information as soon I have completed the terraforming and starting up the editor

If you have any advice, I am keen to listen and learn

It is only Windows. He/she's running it through Steams Proton software which is a Windows emulation environment, so they're not really "running" it on Linux, they're running it on an emulator on Linux.

I thought that was the case. I only use Windows but have VM Linux using windows 10 own VM software

HI @Ubivis
Nothing special in the Steam settings , just forced proton 6.3-8 and i use steam beta version.
I haven't used the editor much, I'll wait for most bugs to be fixed first.
