Hi everybody,

I'am using the RainboxV4 ( with all the last fixes ) and I'm asking if there is a way, a trick, a parameter in order to densify the drops.
So I will have a heavier rain displaying on the screen?

Thank you for your help.

Never heard of it; ' RainboxV4 ( with all the last fixes ) ' Maybe give more info?

If it's part of GGClassic weather system and the particles system then the answer is yes-
you can add more particles by introducing another particle emitter.
At least that's how I would do it (ie this method is a script writing task.) But... if you find
the rain script assigned to the weather, it would probably be easy to modify as needed,
and/ or like mentioned just pose that object again separately to DOUBLE the effect--
something like that should work.

Something else, IDK?

Those are done with decal sheets, not particles.
The decal sheet is split into an 8 x 8 grid for the shader to play thru.
To get the snow denser you would need 64 images with more white dots in them.
You can open this image in a paint program and add your self and test till you get the desired effect.

@NicolasDeManila: was that the product that DevCore65 (I think), created?

[edit-ok I meant DevCore35, just did a search, I will have a look at Rainbox again and have a play around]

Has anybody tried the rainbox or snowbox in Max yet ?

When I tried the snowbox, the decal changed into a flat sheet. I tried to re-import it, but still changed to a flat sheet.

The snowbox is using "effectbank\reloaded\decal_animate8.fx" in the FPE

Ignore what Max has now.

I actually just use it to blend with the particles to give it a fuller effect.

It is strange how it flattens the decal box like that.

To save you the effort of trying to get RainboxV4 into Max yes i have seen an early version of it and even then it was far superior and impressive to what we have now.
