I organized my entity's file this weekend and it was a mess. Now I knew this would happen when I open my level map, entities are missing in the area to the left. How do I delete the missing Icon? Can I point it to a new location where the entity is?

Thanks!

They usually disappear when saving the level.

Can remember it GG generate a file in your map folder listing all the missing meshes.
About redirecting GG to the new entity's paths, have a hard fix, you would end editing the fpm files.
Make a copy of your fpm file>convert the copy to a zip file (just change the file extension)> map.ele file contains all the meshes paths, you need to know what are you doing if you want to mess there, many time do not mess with, so do any remember if you need to tweak some another file as well.

I might make a little EXE that "resets" the map.ele file as I have read/written this file a billion times before. But yes, as 3Com states, saving the map usually removed the "missing" entitiy icons.

That's would be a nice tool and can aim to repair the fpm files, redirecting the meshes' path, to the correct folder paths.

I'll aim to have a free "RepairFPM.exe" app written as soon as possible, probably during this week.

ah yes, I recall that video way back, totally forgot about it. Good , no need for me to do a program, users can do it themselves by watching the vid. Nice find.
