Pretty neat work.
"I'm using Game Guru and Game Maker together. They communicate together by writing and reading files during missions/tasks."
Great idea. I tried out Game maker way, way back then. Didn't have the time to put into it.
But I've been trying to (or actually) I've not been doing anything, but I've been thinking only
along the lines of multi-player communication in a similar fashion you mention.
Would there be a way for GG to find a file that was emailed from Player1 to Player2 and put
into a certain folder, read it, then put that text on the screen? And then if you could do that--
would there be any way to put a Text-To-Speach file in your game. Thirdly, could you speak
into your mic, and have that file I guess emailed, read and uploaded by GG for Player2 to hear?
Well, if you could figure out those challenges--- RADICAL time.
Back-door MP features....
I guess the only thing similar to set up would be a Skype type stream of your game, but that
doesn't sound actually as interactive? Maybe our high-tech people would know something?
