well for me, COVID19 is keeping me in contract roles as I'm in R&D in the pharma industry (clinical trials) as a data scientist so I'm one of the lucky ones and am thankful I am in an industry that is trying to get vaccine onto the market.

Seriously I think the business that can develop its own workflow online may be the future, this allows you to work at home.
If the situations go really worts, The supplier companies must take their products to the customer's home, this includes supermarkets, restaurants, tools, etc. in order to be efficient and productive against other competitors.
Explore new paths, for this a good training, might be the key.
