Not sure if anyone's seen this. It's an open source particle effects editor which has runtime tools to integrate it into other programs. Maybe for GG MAX?

No time to test it yet, anyway it looks such as a good tool to make effects.
ToDo for next weekend. Thanks for sharing link.

I just downloaded it, runs very well - from a folder. (Interesting that this runs but the Wicked Engine IDE and therefore Guru Alpha 2/3 doesn't)

Thanks

I don't know your system specs, but I am going to guess that the reason alpha2/3 does not run on your systems has to do with your video card, particularly how much video memory your card has available to it. Effekseer is not going to require much video memory at all. But the GameGuruMAX alphas will, due to some pretty large textures/materials being used.

@DannyD

You may like to know that I solved the Wicked Engine problem of not running. I had orginally downloaded the software from the Windows App store. Having tried many things to get it to run, I eventually downloaded Wicked again but from a server rather than the store. Much to my surprise it worked perfectly. I have never had a problem with any other Windows store app and so it took me a while to clock this.

This is not related to the above but you may also want to try this: rename the 'cellardemo' folder in alpha 3 to say, cellardemoxxx, and see if it runs. Mine did - but not the internal Wicked rendering window. This confirmed to me that the issue is Wicked related.

I then reduced the contents of the cellar demo folder to the .wiscene for and just a few appropriate assets but sadly this didn't load as I hoped it would

I sent these observations to Technical Support initially and they suggested that post them here as they may help others.
