Talking about dll's, tried to run a couple of old DB games of mine I found out yesterday from 2000. Missing dll's
Direct X8 as well I think from memory, so not sure even finding and copying it over would fix it. Pity, as I was curious how they would run now, probably about 20 times too fast lol. Back then it was a job getting them to run at speed
I've lost most the stuff I've done over the years so was quite pleased the old disk now reads on my CD Drive, thought it had degraded but seems the writer was just rubbish at reading disks before
Strange though about the above issue. I thought all that was done with since the DX11 update, no extra runtimes needed with GG games. Obviously not in this case.
Edit - Got one to work, although it drops from 60 to 10 fps as soon as the game starts
So it's way slower now ah well.
