VR Performance,
According to Nvidia, neither desktop or notebook 1050 GPU is considered VR ready (you would need, at minimum, a GTX 1060 for that), which is in line with the minimum specs required by HTC for its Vive VR headset. The Oculus Rift, however, lists the 1050 Ti as a minimum spec and the 1060 as recommended.

@vrg run the GeForce Experience Application it will tell you if your GPU is VR ready, as far as i know the 1060 and above with at least 4GB Vram are the minimum specs, the list above i posted does say notebooks GTX 10 series which is misleading

from what i have read it depends on the headset i have the HP AR headset and that says 1050 with 4GB i assume that means the 1050ti i think that is the only 1050 with more than 2gb (i could be wrong) you can download an AR checker for your system here

You can still use max, just not any of the VR stuff, when it loads you will get a Windows message, just click ok on that and you can use max without VR.

AR can be run with a 'Discrete' GTX 1050 this means a card that does not share system memory.

and as Belidos as pointed out you dont need VR to run and use Max

Oke thanks again. So VR is not mandatory to create games with GG-Max. I thought I cannot run GG-Max at all without the VR function .

This is an example of the kind of thing I hope that TGC will expose via the GameGuru MAX GUI. There should be a way to turn on/off VR Mode without having to dig for a .ini file. A simple checkbox on a panel or in Properties (for MAX).

You only need to turn it off on setup.ini if you are using windows 7, if you're using windows 10 and don't have a vr headset, or your gfx isn't VR ready then you should just get a Windows pop up warning which you yet click out if and Max should then just run, you just can't use the VR.
