Developer: Duncan Idaho

Story: erm...there is no real story, there was a zombie pandemic an you are one of the survivors

Descripton: you´ll have to earn money (trough killing zombies with headshots or collecting money), to buy new weapons and some other Stuff

It´s my second "real" project and I started at the beginning of october 2019 - it still has some issues and bugs (annoying long loading times and perfomance problems caused by the huge maps) but it has a great soundtrack (friends of me gave me the permission to use their music) and I´ve learned so much about lua scripting through the development of this game... You can download this game for free on https://nyarlathotep198.itch.io/downtown-z

If you want, feel free to tell me your opinion about my game

Here is a let´s play video of an early version (I think it was 0.91 or 0.92 - please ignore the crappy music, the new one is very much better)...As you can see, in this version I used the money script of iiDeenTiiTy https://forum.game-guru.com/thread/220639 since v 0.94 I use smallg´s money script

here is the video [video=youtube]https://youtu.be/tyW-o2GMTAM

Hi Duncan,

I think you'll need to work on a hud, to display how much money the player have. Maybe some fog too? fits pretty well with zombie games.

I really enjoy the idea of going outside, farming zombies to get cash and upgrade stuff

Edit: btw, reducing terrain size would improve performance.

@Medmatheus: I'm sorry but I didn't recognize your comment... Thanks for your Input...Currently I'm working on something, that expands the idea of my old game in the direction of an open world-RPG with HUDs and other stuff like an Inventory, a day/night-cycle, a skilltree and so on...The game will be a spiritual sequel to Downtown Z - that means, the gameplay will be "going outside, farming zombies to get cash and upgrade stuff"
