Quote: "Discord can deaden forums it's true."

It should be noted that overall Game Development communicates have completely moved from Forum to Discord. Statistically. This is due to the realtime responses and seamless integration with mobile phones.

Voice Chat, while not common with its own community; is a tool that tends to lure more towards the platform.

@GubbyBlips: I hate it when I have to look-up things said in the language that is my birthright!. There again, reading Chaucer, (I haven't really) is a nightmare and even Shakespeare causes brainstrain. so - I'll just let it all wash over me and just chill on the sofa with a tinny.
The worst thing about being an old fart though is trying to find a TV comedy that bears any relation to my life experience - so I understand the jokes. There again, Detectorists and Ambassadors both tickled my funnybone.
Good job my VCR/DVD collection is so big

Can anyone confirm what came out of the Discord session?

Are there any confirmed details on the new GG Max renderer yet?

One thing that was agreed upon during the Discord sessions was the forward motion for 64 bit. So that is something to look forward to.

Well, finally decided to pre-order while it's the best price, so I hope 64-bit will be implemented. I'd also like to know what the new engine will be based on for max.

I pre-ordered GGMax via steam, and now I wonder if this will make GGMax stean dependent?

Depends what you mean. It's just a delivery system after all. If you mean multi-player then it's been said that is moving away from Steam. Not that I have any real hopes for multi-player to be much better than the current system, at least from what I have read. Not an issue for me though, gave up on any amazing online game since Realm Crafter.

I wouldn't think they would let it be bought on Steam yet - don't want them milking the revenue stream before the product really exists.

You don't, you order a Steam key from TGC and when they're ready they will send you the key to manually enter into Steam.
