Hi all, sorry to take up this space but just a while back someone posted on a thread two character standing and talking and there was also a script with it but i cant member who it was please help me if someone knows what i am talking about.

EDIT : i think there were two characters, could be only one. not sure.

I've something like this but there is not any script involved on the post.



Bassically they are animated chars and a script that run the animation when needed.
Does you need the script or the chars, or maybe both?

i basically just for now need as script that i can put onto any ai and that runs thru the animations that resembles talking.
yes something like in your video were the two guys was talking at the bar.

Yes, I'm trying to look for that thread also as it would be great to get talking characters working in GameGuru.
@PCS , here is a thread you started a couple of years ago, maybe I will look at the FPSC source code and see what was going on there?

There are five scripts in the SCiFi folder. I am not sure if that is a separate DLC or if it came with GG. If it came with it then go into folder files\scriptbank\scifi and see scripts alien, engineer, guard, guardchat and guard2. This has some basic commands for talking motions.

Also, there is a map, Scifi Pack.fpm, that demonstrates these scripts.
