Little story of the development:
My plan was to add some features to EBE Editor and release an update, but after I added a lot of new features, I decided to make a bigger release. And here it is the V2.

Features:
- Open/save .pfd files and edit them
- Paint EBE structures without looking at ones and zeros in textfiles
- New Gui Interface
- Build your EBE structures in EBE Editor without opening GG
- Automatic preview images generation next to your .pfd file
- Customize your colors in EBE Editor with hex values or prebuild colors
- Documentation added
- Build 2D Objects and copy them into a 3D cube (Creates custom stairs in one minute)
- and a lot more

You can post feature requests or bugs in this thread, but maybe the development will take another year or two.

Your program does not work on my PC / Laptop. What can I do?
Normally windows will install .net if needed on your pc itself. If it still not work, you can not use my tool. SRY. As a single developer with other work, I can not support every PC.

I want to donate some money. Where can I do it?
There is and will be no donation button!

My antivir say there is malware in your program. Is this true?
No. I tested the program with different antivir and some had problems some not. Sometimes even chrome has a problem and blocks it. The reason is, I did not publish a certificate with the software, so some antivir programs do not trust EBE Editor V2.
You can remove it from the quarantine and trust it or remove it from your PC. It is your decision.

Why I need a extra tool for it? Why this is not inside GG?
EBE Editor V2 is written in .net and GG in C++. A port from .net to C++ is in my eyes a waste of time.

Licence
You can use this tool to make free/commercial .pfd files.
You are not allowed to sell/modify the source code or the tool itself.

I just saw this on The Game-Guru Report blog, but the download seems to have been removed. Any way of getting the EBE Editor V2 now? I would love to try it out.

There is no way to get a copy of EBE Editor V2 at the moment.
I am in contact with someone about the future of this tool, but at the moment I need to remove it. Sry

Shame this is not currently available. It was so good.

There is not that much interest in this tool, so another release is not necessary. It was free for a limited time only, and I will make calmly plans for the tool and his future.

It was great IMHO , I still use it but just wondered why you took it down.
Since its already made I would stick it on the store for 5 bucks and if you get sales great … If not nothing lost .

I'm no expert, but just by seeing the screen-shots, I would say that this is probably
more useful than the Leadwerks geometry tool. How far could it go? Anywhere.

It is not that easy. You need to follow a lot of rules and laws and also I need to invest money.
The work on the tool is done, but that does not mean I can do whatever I want with it.

May I ask who or what is stopping you from selling it?
In case you need to license some sort of tech, can't you reproduce it using free and open-source tech?

I understand this completely, I have invested quite a lot of time and capital in my little venture, making sure you have distribution rights to any classes or libraries you may tap into is a mine field I originally used some open source tools for some 3D libraries for AM unfortunately the people that made the library did not read the license properly for the assimp dll's which clearly states you have to have a developer license from assimp to use/distribute said libraries.

I removed the 3D tools and will purchase the development license once I know I can re-coup some of the cost, Developing applications is not cheap yes there are open source but if you want something to do a specific job you have to code it yourself, if you want to sell your hard work you need to at least have some kind of code signing certificate for Windows 10 just so your app will run without warnings and complaints.

If this app is not going to become available again soon I sincerely hope something similar will be integrated into GameGuru. Same goes for StyleGuru.
