Hi, B.O.T.RINGS not sure if you are still working on this app, I have been working away from home
so not been around for a while. Just tested SegAutoWelder3.6 on some FPSC Classic, I have noticed
on doors it will not always output in .x but will in dbo, & if it does output in either no matter what
you do to the animation setting in fpe 1,30 or 1,31 you can still walk through the doors & frame when open.

The app also crashes quite a lot when selection a different segment from the last one I did.

I'm still testing it if I find anymore issues I will post if you are still working on updates..

Regards SuperClark

That's how GameGuru works with animated doors.

Basically the to animate any entity the collision is turned off, and because the shape of the collision box is created when the entity is placed and cannot be changed, if you turned it back on after changing the position of parts of the model (ie animating a door to open) then the collision would still block you going through the doorway, so when a door is opened in GameGuru collision is switched off and left off until it is closed again.

So no, that's not an issue with BotR's software, that's a known issue with GameGuru. It's also probably not going to get changed because by having this way you also have the added advantage of not getting the camera stuck on the door collision as it opens that is prevalent in some engines.

I think BOTR has moved on now last I heard and all his links are now dead
The only person ever to get all his work done by "Friday" was Robinson Crusoe..

Sorry all just very busy being a new dad and between programming contracts. I'm not sure what I really want to do with this app anymore, lost the motivation. I've kind of moved away from GG or at least for the meantime and focusing on other projects and AGK , C#, C+ etc.

I will have a look at any bugs etc and upload the next version of SegAutoWelder. I know the animated door side is completely dreadful at the moment, so would be good to get it fixed/enhanced.

Yes m8 agreed doors are not good, we need doors that you can not pass through when opened.....or after they have closed
even if is supposed to be how GG handles it. it not great at all.
