Hi All,

We are in the process of assembling a new DLC for GameGuru which will provide some cool Cold War scenery for your next game making project and need your early feedback on the specific layout of the entities, the names of them and the proposed name of the DLC, currently "Cold War Pack".

I have attached the entitybank folder containing only BMP files so you can see the content and the layout. The content is over 5GB uncompressed and offers 450 new entities for you to choose from. I am sure the author will pitch in here with answers to questions you might have, and perhaps even show you some sneak shots of the objects themselves.

The reason we want to approve the entity folders and names is that the task of creating the demo sample level is to start soon and it's very difficult to change the names of things after this starts. A simple nod would be fine if you find nothing unusual with the proposed file set.
PC SPECS: Windows 8.1 Pro 64-bit, Intel Core i7-5930K (PASSMARK:13645), NVIDIA Geforce GTX 980 GPU (PASSMARK:9762) , 32GB RAM

This has been posted in the media thread, but every one might not have seen it.
This is a quick preview. Some light mapped entities screenshots will be provided during the course of the day, the first release has the intention of doing an indoor enviroment first before adding outdoor assets. It is also the first pack that will add massive 90 degree curves in gameguru.

Each bunker indoor asset has been perfectly aligned to the grid to make sure that large 360 curves can be created effortlessly with grid alignment and simply using the B key twice for grid alignment.People familiar with my media and Death Valley Combat DLC will be right at home with the multi layer approach of building complex levels.Various tutorials and at least 2 demo levels will be provided.

We are planning on doing an official release event when the time comes a few days after release and do a live twitch or youtube stream and showcase various ways how things can be assembled. As there will be a bit of a learning curve. For example in order to reduce draw calls for curves light sources in certain instances have been pre-aligned to certain curves which makes it easy to place both ceiling and wall light sources.

I guess I really don't know why you are concerned. I was expecting you have characters that you were concerned about.

Anyway, an up and down head nod from me.

Because it's a lot of content, lee wanted to know whether you happy with the folder layout, is it easy to see, understand, the folders don't run to deep to click.

Would you add the light sources with the furniture folder, add the pipes into bunker folder, that type of thing. The idea was to ask the community is it streamlined as best as possible, as this pack will rapidly expand with more content over the next year, so any folder mistakes made is there to stay.

As well as the name Cold War are you guys happy with the naming, a water based asset pack was on the TGC voting for many years.Once released it's pretty much final, the bunker assets is also different. So I think lee needed to describe his post better will the average steam user or novice user be happy with the layout

I'm quite a fan of your work Wizard, looking at the folder, i think it is done in an orderly way so it seems good to me as it is.
The only thing i thought of was if the curves could be displayed in the same way as the first nine items.

|It was taken at those angles to get a better view of the inside parts, as from 10 to 23 has significant differences, would make it a bit easier to see it.I guess if there are more objections we can change.I don't think it necessarily distracts from usage, would you agree ?

5.59 gigs to be precise. That said when steam downloads it to your computer it should be compressed, little over a gig. No you don't have to sell the kids it is to be priced more or less the same as current DLC's.

I have one possible suggestion but it is definitely not that important of an issue. Since, t seems, that Ladders are associated with the bunkers You could have either a subfolder in bunkers for Ladders. Or, because there are already the three different colors you could put the red ladders in the red subfolder and do the same with the other two. Because there appears to be a large number of colored bunker items as well as ladders you could place the ladders in a subfolder of the colored bunker (Bunker\Blue\Ladders). So, if I am building a 'Red' bunker then the ladders would be available at my fingertips; since GG save the last 'Entity' location

Thanks for the feebacks lee wanted all the ladders in one folder, the ladders aren't for use in the bunkers, there is actually a specialty ladder for the bunker, the rest are all general purpose ladders. They were originally all in separate folders for color and type, lee felt too many folders to click.

Some thing @lee will need to weigh in about that, as he wanted the present changes
