Very cool, but I never feel the videos do these excellent packs justice! (except for the Enhanced Weapons Pack)

I agree that the videos don't do these packs justice. One question I have is are the stirrups on that exam table compatible with Fuse characters or at least adjustable? Need to do some pelvic exams...

EDIT: Just got it and it IS nice! The "wall shelves" should probably be static though. I have absolutely no use for this, but I was recently diagnosed with cancer so maybe I could have some fun with that angle, lol.

Thanks, reliquia, I've been going through the radiation/chemo (most of my hair fell out yesterday, finally) and will be doing immunotherapy eventually (hopefully, it's not actually approved for my cancer although clinical studies have been extremely positive). It's (they, the tumors) are shrinking so that's good. I realize this isn't the place to discuss something like this so I'll leave it at that. (Or is it? It is medical, after all)

One question, since I have been away a few things have changed in GG. I've changed the pbroverride to 0 in the setup.ini as it was really slowing things down. What is that setting doing? The pack looks great with it at 0 or 1 (at least the entities I've tried), but as I learned elsewhere a setting of 1 really slows things down for me.

Thanks smallg and Teabone, and sorry for your loss. I haven't run across anything yet in the pack that are interactive. In fact, the double doors are transparent on one side. There are some "extra parts" for the doors but I don't know what they are for. The doors just have default.lua attached to them.

Thanks cybernescence! Figured out the double doors and why they are transparent on one side. Didn't notice there are actually two sets and they fit back to back (one inside, one outside) there are a couple desk drawers that could be interactive but no script attached to them. Also drawers, as most objects, are really hard to place in this interface!

As i understand it, it switches off PBR on old entities and terrain.

Get well Jerry.

Sorry missed the question, although I'm not sure if it forces PBR models to use DNS or DNS models to use PBR. I've left it default so far with no problem. I am surprised you have speed issues though, your system spec is pretty good and your video card is considerably faster than my 970. I haven't noticed any speed issues myself, unless you mean this pack specifically?

DVader, I was playing around with the EBE and apparently that setting was slowing it WAY down per Earthling45. He was correct. Big difference. Thank you for the well wishes! Also, thank you BOTR!

Quote: "although I'm not sure if it forces PBR models to use DNS or DNS models to use PBR."

pbroverride = 1 allows the engine to use shaders for DNS models

If you change the setting at all you must:
--set forceloadtestgameshaders = 1 this will force GG to compile the shaders
---- load any map in GameGuru and run it
---- note this leads to a long load time and black screen - but be assured it is not broken
--now change it back ie: set forceloadtestgameshaders = 0
----And loading will be back to normal

If you leave pbroverride = 0 the engine will use PBR shaders even for your dns models, and they should look better (but not always)
Pretty sure when using the default setting the engine doesn't use the specular map at all so you can delete all your specular textures.

Edit: I have not seen any slowdown with pbroverride=1, but I also have never used the EBE.

Yeah , it was slowing things down, at least for me, on both machines. Just a few EBEs and it was ugly!

Sounds like the EBE has been adversely affected by the PBR or other updates then. I never really use it, so haven't spotted the slowdown issue. Good job someone is testing it and spotting these issues

Great pack but since working (playing, really) with it I've realized no IV bottles or stands! (Unless I'm missing them, quite possible)
