Defy I've given you lots more data as I have MSI AfterBurner running on this Computer.

Test Number one (6 levels) @1080p

Computer i7 3770 - 8GB Ram - 2GB GTX 750ti - HD ssd - Windows 7 64Bit - FPS all Levels 60+

Loading Time Level 1 = 40sec / Video Mem = 904MB / System Mem = 2416MB

Loading Time Level 2 = 19sec / Video Mem = 1046MB / System Mem = 2351MB

Loading Time Level 3 = 6sec / Video Mem = 1189MB / System Mem = 2227MB

Loading Time Level 4 = 40sec / Video Mem = 1375MB / System Mem = 2414MB

Loading Time Level 5 = 18sec / Video Mem = 1518MB / System Mem = 2393MB

Loading Time Level 6 = 16sec / Video Mem = 1663MB / System Mem = 2365MB

Test Number Two... (10 levels) @1080p

FPS all Levels 45-60

Loading Time Level 1 = 20sec / Video Mem = 1352MB / System Mem = 2232MB

Loading Time Level 2 = 8sec / Video Mem = 1489MB / System Mem = 2345MB

Loading Time Level 3 = 8sec / Video Mem = 1633MB / System Mem = 2365MB

Loading Time Level 4 = 8sec / Video Mem = 1776MB / System Mem = 2360MB

Loading Time Level 5 = 8sec / Video Mem = 1919MB / System Mem = 2341MB

Loading Time Level 6 = 8sec / Video Mem = 1947MB / System Mem = 2409MB

Loading Time Level 7 = 8sec / Video Mem = 1937MB / System Mem = 2467MB

Loading Time Level 8 = 8sec / Video Mem = 1917MB / System Mem = 2495MB

Loading Time Level 9 = 8sec / Video Mem = 1914MB / System Mem = 2583MB

Loading Time Level 10 =8sec / Video Mem = 1930MB / System Mem = 2620MB

AI was working OK - no crashes

That's my lot for now, hope it helps

28/8/2018...

Test Number Three... (6 Levels) @1080p

FPS all Levels 35-60

Loading Time Level 1 = 75sec / Video Mem = 1997MB / System Mem = 2489MB

Loading Time Level 2 = 11sec / Video Mem = 1966MB / System Mem = 2435MB

Loading Time Level 3 = 9sec / Video Mem = 2000MB / System Mem = 2472MB

Loading Time Level 4 = 8sec / Video Mem = 2005MB / System Mem = 2563MB

Loading Time Level 5 = 8sec / Video Mem = 1974MB / System Mem = 2705MB

Loading Time Level 6 = 7sec / Video Mem = 1985MB / System Mem = 2745MB

No crashes - AI working as one would expect from GG

Extra...

Kept testing (test 3) running through levels 1 to 6 over and over,
Loading level one would add about an extra 700MB to 1GB to system
memory, the other five levels would only add a few 100mb to system memory

System memory would max out at 7GB and would stay there no matter how many
times I started the test levels.

Extra extra...

How does Test 3 run using dividetexturesize=2 in setup file

Level 1 = Video ram = 1481MB - System Ram = 2448MB
Level 1 = Video ram = 1471MB - System Ram = 2402MB
Level 1 = Video ram = 1533MB - System Ram = 2352MB
Level 1 = Video ram = 1594MB - System Ram = 2353MB
Level 1 = Video ram = 1658MB - System Ram = 2399MB
Level 1 = Video ram = 1710MB - System Ram = 2383MB

The main problem is still the memory going off the clock when you are killed
and it's your last life, you restart the game from the main menu and you are
hit with an extra 800MB of memory used each time with this map, or save
and load a few times and again big hit, in my case up to 7GB was showing
in system memory after a few restarts and save and loads, I started off with
about 2.5GB used, so the rest 4.5GB is use by GG.

Having said all that I had no crashes, AI seemed to work ok, non of the
maps had slow down.

Test 4 coming soon...

I love that you're doing this but without the lightmapper working I feel like it's not going to entirely get to the root of the problem.

I also hope future tests contain at least twice the entities and characters, and all levels having many static lights, as that's what would probably be the minimum required for a commercial release steam ready finished game.

as it is, it makes gameguru look pretty good, but I somehow still wouldn't approach the compile of a 6 level game with any confidence given gameguru and fpsc's track record and my own experiences.
