I would love to be able to increase the amount of delay that my weapon has when I am turning, it would seem much more sandboxy and might be really fitting for my game. Sadly the weapon sway/movement delay is really subtle. But my game is supposed to be over the top!

define "over the top"
also, in each guns gunspec.txt file, there are commands for "gunlag"
increase the numbers for these values as you see fit for more sway when turning.

There are player weapon speed mods you can update in the gunspec file to change behaviour e.g.
;// HUD handling characteristics
usespotlighting = 1
zoomwalkspeed = 0.5
zoomturnspeed = 0.6
plrmovespeedmod = 0.9
plremptyspeedmod = 0.9
plrturnspeedmod = 1.0
plrjumpspeedmod = 1.0
plrreloadspeedmod = 0.5
Changing these might give the effect you're after too?
Cheers.

sorry I missed this as it was marked solved - can place it anywhere in gunspec.txt.
I use it to slow player down when moving/turning when they have huge heavy weapons in hand.
Cheers.
