Seriously though, that must have taken ages to get right, all we need now is dynamic shadowing, keep it up, playing with the new spotlighting myself in my game and so far, it is helping build the atmosphere we all want in our games

ah, there is no spotlighting in this game, (x9) but I'd be interested to see what you do with it.

Posted some screens on my Saviour thread, but still needs those shadows on spotlights to make them stand out.

@tarkus i'll check em out!

@everyone-
unfortunately adding a cutscene to the first level literally cut the frame rates in half??? so I may have to make it into the loadingscreen or the splashscreen. I've seen it done. Does anyone know how it is done?

thanks man

looks like gameguru has claimed yet another life on this one. this is what I get for using a permanantly in-beta engine. The infernal contraption couldn't load a built game with 2 levels each less than 10% of the total map size. the game was only 1.21 gb in size. I reinstalled and rebuilt, and half the maps were missing, despite all my media being there. I'm not sure what to do at this point. I'm getting really sick of losing my artwork to the jaws of this infernal creation.

Yes Bugsy , that's not nice. just as one thinks everything is going well then disaster struck. my son keeps on telling me to make smaller maps , but i do not want to do it. i have about six or seven that i am working on that i want to put in to one game, but i think it would never ever work. but you must keep on believing that everything will get better one day.
i still believe that it will be better one day.
Again great work, keep it up.

yeah i believe the same. these maps are absolutely tiny. I hope to someday see gameguru become capable too. If i can't successfully build this (and I will try again) then you can expect a full lets play at least to see what couldve been.

while you wait, here's a lets play of an FPSC level i couldn't get into kshatriya prologue prologue
