Third Party Tools / "Bright" weapons imported with Weapon Welder

I imported many FPSC weapons using Bored of the Ring's Weapon Welder.

Everything worked fine, except for the Tavor and the Minigun: they are very bright, almost glowing green.

I tried changing the shader but it had no effect whatsoever.

Do you have any hints?

Try removing the specular map and see if that helps. It might just be too bright of a specmap.

It likely has something to do with the specular map. If removing them fixes the issue then you need to edit the spec map and make it darker. May need to do some more editing to fix the shiny arms though.

There is a discussion on the forum someware about this ,try a search and you might find it.i no there was a salution for this problem someware here .

All I did was open the texture in paint.net and bring down the hue saturation on the _D or _D2 texture. There is a tut somewhere, don't have time to put link here at the moment but is shown how to lower the brightness. Not all the guns have a specular map.
