Hi guys!

/.. ORIGINAL IDEA

was bored so I decided to make some acuarela world with a bit of relaxing music, and this is what I've so far...
../

CURRENTLY...

I have decided to try making a game, so...

NAME : Watercolor world

DEVELOPER : 3com

STORYLINE

To be honest, I still have no idea what kind of game I want to play. In fact I'm not clear yet what kind of game can be according to this type of world.
Maybe an adventure game, although it should be childish, I have seen a rabbit out there, I will see what I can do with it.

First I will work in the world itself (environtment). Terrain, foliage, water, rocks, houses, coves etc.
I'm trying to create more trees, plants, and let's say they will not be the typical plants that you can find in nature.
I changed the texture of the water, terrain, sculpted and painted some rocks etc.

So a brief storyline could be ...

The player (the rabbit) must find a sacred stone stolen from his village.
This sacred stone has the power to preserve the eternal fire.
The elders tell us that this stone was stolen many years ago by a rival tribe, who entrusted it to a witch to hide it.

They also tell that the stone is hidden in a distant world called the watercolor world.
A place populated by strange creatures, plants that could kill you or go crazy if you feed them.
These creatures are very fond of puzzles so you will have to solve puzzles, maybe you even have to learn some magic.

You will need allies, get money along the way to trade with the locals, some gold to get information, healing potions, enchantments, uhm ... this is more and more like a fantasy genre game.

Find the cape of invisibility, it can be very useful, look at the temple of the runes, but you must be prepared, that temple is full of traps.

Note: This storyline is subject to future changes.

I really do not know where we will end up, but one thing if I am sure, the idea is being born here and now, if you want to accompany me on the long road we are starting, it may even be fun, why not?

More foliage..

Hope you like.

This is way too mainstream! Don't try to copy call of duty so much, you untalented worm! Try to have some original ideaz!!!11

I like it! Dreamy and peaceful. Where your work has rough edges, you've always made up for it with originality and interesting design.
What does acuarela mean?

Its visually slightly reminiscent of the "earth core" movies.

1959 Version
1976 Version
1999 Version (with the blue plants)
2008 Version

I generally like dreamy, artistic landscapes. Are you planning on making a work in progress thread with this concept?

Keep it up, matey!

Thanks guys, glad you like.

@ Wolf

Quote: "What does acuarela mean? "

Sorry I forgot to translate the word.
acuarela = aquarelle/ watercolors, in fact thread should name aquarelle world, just 4 fun

Quote: "Its visually slightly reminiscent of the "earth core" movies."

I was thinking about What-Dreams-May-Come

It all started as an idea to enjoy, but I do not know how far it will take me.
At the moment I am working with the foliage.

Foliage

If you want to translate the thread to the other forum, it would be much appreciated.

Wo wow wo!

Working on the wisdom temple, that's what i've so far, just the path to get there.

ADVISE:
Puzzles, items, keys, etc, that you see on videos may change, therefore will be not so easy to found keys or solve puzlees in the final game, just for testing purpose.

Hmm! I think a lot of low res elements and texture stretching hold your work back a bit Its a fresh way to approach GG design otherwise.
