Thanks people.

More stuff coming very soon which I am just finishing. Sci-Fi stuff in the main.

Warlock12 - Good point about the poly count. I will try to add the count to the free posts when I get time.

Still working on SciFi stuff so here is some more down to earth freebies.

Just clutter - in this case bookcases. One with books. Two without and a corner unit. It is possible to 'hide' things on the shelves.

I am currently updating my Cellars pack with some pre-defined modules to allow the user to place the parts of the cellar in to cut down on the work building a cellar complex. This update will also include some corridors .

I have put one corridor up here for free to show the kind of thing I am aiming at.

PCSKILLER

Please feel free to mess with my free models as you like as once I put them up for free I consider them in the Public Domain. I don't even mind if you retexture them if you put them back up as long as they remain free to the community.

Will look at the shopsLP1.zip and get back to you.

EDIT: Yep what a berk I am. Somehow forgot to put texture file call in fpe file. Guess most down loaders realised that but thanks PCSKILLER for pointing it out. New file on the post but here is the missing call

Hello everyone. I'm back.

Just made a simple cart for use in a market. Should fit in with fantasy/medieval or modern games. Just need to sort out some textures then I will upload along with a few variations.

What do you think grey or brown? It's a simple clutter model so perhaps both will be an idea. Maybe do one with a broken wheel or some wooden boxes in the back.

OK here is the carts. I ended up doing four versions. The two as above and then a broken one and a totally burnt out one.

Thought I should add some clutter contents to stack on the carts so there are some boxes and sacks as well.

All the models share graphics where possible. As usual N S D files included with the latter two reduced in size to save memory (always thankful to Rolfy for pointing that one out).

Enjoy.

Hello All

I will be putting a few extra models up before Christmas so keep watching

I am offering a bit of a Christmas present to all. Below you will see the offers I am making in the shop of three packs at vastly reduced prices of $1 and $2. The sales last until around 9 AM BST on the 26th December.

The last one below is a combination of all the medieval/clutter items I have made. As with all my packs any you purchase will be updated free of charge if, and when I make additional models that fit into them.

So why am I asking you to pay for a Christmas gift? Well any sales money I make will be going to an appeal I have read about on the news regarding a lady fire fighter that has developed cancer and needs to raise £100,000 for treatment.

So if you buy it's a Christmas gift for you and a Christmas gift for that lady. Whatever donation I am able to make from the sales will be shown as a gift from this community, the GG community.

I will also be giving a few more models on my free models thread before Christmas as well.

Finally if you buy all three packs PM me and I will give you a voucher for another pack and that one will be completely free.

Have a nice Christmas.

Cellar Constructor $1 72 items https://www.tgcstore.net/pack/10601
Fronts Houses and Shops $1 46 items https://www.tgcstore.net/pack/10700
Assorted Medieval/Fantasy Stuff $2 95 items https://www.tgcstore.net/pack/10997

Here you go. This one is based on an army catering tent. Eat at the front and cook in the elevated bit at the back.

You gotta feed the troops.

That's very kind of you Ken. I'm holding back on my models at the moment too, at least until PBR has been officially released and everything has settled into place, don't want to be having to make changes to my models every time something in GameGuru changes.

Hi m8, I have only just got around to testing the Egyptian Collection and a fair few will not display in GamGuru
Public Preview latest release.
I have tried using effectbank\reloaded\entity_basic.fx in the file,
but all I get is what is shown in image below.

also tried apbr_noalpha.fx
but all I get is what is shown in image below.

any ideas on how to fix please?

Hi Super Clark. Sorry for not getting back to you but I have been in the UK for the past 8 weeks dealing with family health issues.

Glad you fixed the problem. There are def issues with the way the public beta handles multi-texture models and I have reported this to TGC.

To help others could you put your fix up here.

Cheers

Ken

No need to purchase as I am going to give this one away. No PBR at the moment but I am working my way through. I think this pack has around 90+ models but don't quote me on that. Will pack up and upload in a while. Any problems please leave a message. Thanks.

WOW! This is taking a lot of time. I want to release the pack with PBR graphics and so purchased Bitmap2Material. That works but I don't see a lot of difference in the final results. Have set the necessary call in the fpe file ETC. Read Belidos's thread on the matter and that helped.

Any of you geniuses on PBR out there that would have a look to see what I may be doing wrong would be great.

One question does GG PBR allow multi texture files. I know the illumination shader will not.

Bitmap2Material is good, but i do find some textures you need to over increase the normals a bit, and some textures you need to decrease the normals a bit, for them to look good in GameGuru. I'm no expert so just guessing, but i think it might be because B2M3 tends to put more emphasis on the height map than the normal map, and GameGuru doesn't use the height map, just a guess, i could be very wrong.

Hi Tarkus1971. Yes sorry for the delay. Trying to get all the graphics converted to PBR. Also some of the models are multi-textured which has a problem in the latest release. But the good news is as GraPHiX says

So hopefully soon.

Well I've tried out a couple models using multi-textures PBR files and they now seem to word. I've tried two image file formats, JPG and DDS and they both seem to work. I must admit I am not totally knocked out by the resulting difference between the old system and the new PBR one but that could be down to my poor graphic manipulation (using B"M to produce files) or simply because so far I have only proguced wood and brick textures.

Anyone want to make any suggestions, give advise ETC please feel free. It will be most welcomed.

In the meantime I will just go ahead and get the Barn Module System finished (a couple weeks).

Well I am struggling to get PBR texture files to look right on these models. I think I am suffering from using models already made and textured. I can get the textures on OK but there are a number of problems with the alignment ETC. Probably need to start from scratch with the mesh and build up from there. I also have to admit I can see very little difference in the PBR graphics in GG and the old dds ones although I think this is mainly due to the fact that I am just using wood, plaster and brick textures.

Still I have decided to upload a small part of the Barns Construction Kit here with jpg files instead of the usually dds. Tell me what you think. Images of the upload below as is the zip file.

Those screenshot look really good, PBR is good for shiny metal and wet surfaces etc, but your textures look fine to me. Great work.

Thanks mate.

OK this is a small kit to make up barns. They can be long, short or whatever you like. This is the base set and I will be uploading accessories, internal walls, ladders, trap doors to underground tunnels, ETC as I get around to them over the next couple weeks. Other parts of the kit, to make large barns and other things will be uploaded as I get to them as well. As it's a kit many pieces should be used to make all kinds of barns. Enjoy I hope.
