I do not use 3ds max, but I can advise "fragmotion" which is free, and FBX import, and export to DirectX .x for GG
download here http://www.fragmosoft.com/downloads/

it's just annoying advertising that asks to buy it, but it is full of all the functions. and it should not necessarily buy it ..

My Pc Specs : Win10pro64bit /Msi z97 / i74770k / gtx1070 / 16gb ram / SSD 850Evo

yes, it's very easy. Don't use Fragmotion for FBX import, it simply doesn't work ever!!!.
Use bond1's free FBX kW X-porter which works very well, I have used it many times and done a lots of videos on this subject.
I'll add links once I collate them together

watch from 12:19 into the video which goes through the bond1 kW X-porter for 3dx max (this video was made before FBX2GG was born):

Not sure why this question is all typed out in caps, when all questions like this generally get answered.

Install Panda X Exporter for 3DSMAX. If for any reason that doesn't work out for you, you can try this. Then you will be able to export in .X format of which Game Guru uses. It requires you to download and place files into a folder (once). THAT'S IT

Then you'll notice .X is an additional file format 3DSMAX will allow for you to export in.

If you would like to know more about how to create entities for Game Guru, I'm working on a guide:
