The weird thing is that today I was walking around my customer site thinking "I could model this building in EBE".
Been there, done that, got all the T-Shirts!

I purchased the character from the old fpsc store before it was game guru and imported him into game guru its not to hard as long as you don't want any special animations most of the old media can be imported. I own all kinds of old packs and have converted all kinds models but they only have the animations of the classic models.

I like those stair rails I should probably add a new folder to the Fixtures folder for staircase related pieces at some point. I think I have a few stock assets from FPSC days I could dig out, including some nice low marble ones.

They are indeed very nice, looking at it, an idea popped up in my head which i will try out tomorrow. Lets see if we can make a nice stairs with EBE instead of this blocky one

I'll email you the staircase model tonight when i get home so you can add it to the fixtures folder if you want.

It works on a 100x100 (20x20) grid, so goes fine inside the EBE.

That would be cool, thanks! If you could also provide just the banister rail on its own too, I'd like to play with some ideas for it. No worries if that's more work, just thinking out loud

Sure, i'll see what i can do.

Do you just want it with the two rails either side of a 100x100 square, or would you prefer a single rail with it's origin in the center so it can be positioned how you like? or both?

Set isebe to 'isebe =0' than you have all the axis and the ability to scale your model.

For the stairs i used two rows of cubes 8 wide with a space of four levels between the steps so i am able to scale it to the right proportion.

it's great seeing what everyone has produce using the EBE already. I'll post something if I come up with anything worth looking at, at the moment nothing worth showing yet, I'm still getting used it when I can find time to play around with it.

In the FPE file, entitybank/user/ebestructures where your EBE models are saved.

Keep in mind however that the axis point (the ball) will be visible.
But when you have rotated and scaled your model, just save your map and set isebe back to 'isebe =1' in the FPE.
Load your saved map and enjoy

I would like a checkbox switch or the value editing in the EBE properties instead of using notepad.

A single banister rail would work for me, as the user can then choose if their staircase has an open side, e.t.c. Thanks for the edits, they look cool!!
