When I pick up an ammo box in my game map it doesn't add any bullets. I tried a new map and it still didn't work, I rebooted GG and it didn't help, and I also rebooted my PC and it still didn't help.

I'm using the 357 magnum revolver and the box of 38 bullets. This worked well in the past and I can't quite figure out what happened that made it suddenly stop working.

Anybody got any ideas on what to do about this issue? It's got me baffled.

My PC specs are as follows:

OS Name - Microsoft Windows 7 Professional
System Manufacturer - Hewlett-Packard
System Model - HP Compaq Elite 8300 SFF
System Type - x64-based PC
Processor - Intel(R) Core(TM) i3-2120 CPU @ 3.30GHz, 3300 Mhz, 2 Core(s), 4 Logical Processor(s)
Installed Physical Memory (RAM) - 8.00 GB
GeForce GT 710 - 1 GB

Hi, in the FPE spec below, does yours read 10 for the quantity?

;header
desc = .45 Rounds (Magnum)

;Identity Details
isammo = 1
hasweapon = modern\magnum357
quantity = 10
isimmobile = 1

You might need to delete the DBO files for associated ammo/weapon and/or do a steam file integrity check maybe?

Thanks Bored of the Rings,

I was using 38 rounds with the revolver in the past but now they don't work... I had the quantity set to 10...

Now that I checked the FPE, somehow it got switched so the 38 rounds were marked to work with the colt 1911, and the 45 rounds are now set to work with the revolver. I'm not sure how that got switched around, or if perhaps an update changed it.

I just checked using 45 rounds and they work correctly with the revolver.

I guess I will need to switch everything in my maps to go with 45 rounds now.

Oh well... at least we figured it out...

Thanks for pointing me in the right direction to help me figure it out and get it fixed. I greatly appreciate the help.

Have you Verified your installation via steam ..... sometimes this fixes those little weird issues ?

that's correct, the revolver ammo is marked as magnum (name of the most famous gun of it's type)
don't believe it should have ever worked with pistol ammo, that would be the broken part

9 files failed to verify...

Files now re-aquired... You folks called that spot on...

The revolver and the 45 magnum ammo work correctly. For some strange reason it used to be the opposite...

In the past, I could only get the 38 ammo to work with the revolver, but couldn't get the 45 ammo to work with the revolver. As smallg stated, this might have been the goofed up or broken part.

Thanks smallg, synchromesh, and bored.
