I had to reinstall GG. The install process asked for "MY" four digit password for "Restricted Content". What code? I don't recall getting one from Steam.

SO....I typed it into Google and received this useless/nonsense link: https://forum.game-guru.com/thread/215227

"If you forgot your code it is listed in this file.
parentalcontrolmode.ini
in the Game Guru root folder.
I have made a suggestion that it gets written encrypted or a registry entry so it would not be so easy to figure out how to hack it."

OPENED FILE parentalcontrolmode.ini - NO 4#'s ONE NUMBER.....BLA BLA....BLA. No solution....BLA

Typed Restricted Content Code in the forum search and: NOTHING SHOWS UP?! (WHY ?)

----------------------------------------------

1) What/Where is it/When did I get this....!!!??
2) Don't you think it should say: Restricted mode ON/ OFF - CLEARLY some where ON the menu?
3) If this is so important.... when I export as a stand alone shouldn't I be able to turn it on or off!? At least be given the option.

The implementation of this seems really sloppy. What am I missing here. As of 2016-12-22?

You probably closed the window without unticking the box when you first installed it

Use the code 9119, it's a master code

OK....Thanks for that quick fix.

But ..."How do I know its Toggled on?" GG just put up a box saying shut down and start GG again.

Am I the only one that thinks GG should display RESTRICTED MODE ON/OFF feedback.

And what about when I export a stand alone game?

Nope, at the end he says "How about a nice game of chess?"

brilliant, I was hooked on "wargames" film for ages in the days when I had a BBC Micro B+ and BT's Microlink and it was all dial up a BB and wait for that dreaded white noise at the end of the phone before putting the phone down to connect ha, defo on my film list to watch over the break.

Joshua is smarter than humans by playing out gaming simulations and calculating that violence:
Nuclear War games is unwinnable = Extinction (0)
I guess Joshua gaining awareness from moving from:
"Tick Tack Toe" to "Chess" = Evolution (1)

But really, WarGames (1983) (Matthew Brodrick) where everyone is so deliriously happy at the end of this movie.

I am pretty sure after Joshua plays chess with humans and figures out how dumb they are it changes it's name to "Sky Net". = Eradication (3)

S_"H.A.L"(1968) WE PLAY A GAME?: "Come with me If you want to Live!" (1984).
