I came across this runtime error in GameGuru while applying fixes to my Autowelder program. If you get this error, ensure your meshes are not below 0 on the Y axis. I found a few segment meshes (from FPSC and mainly floor meshes) that had Y offset at -1.2 and lower and had to reset it to 0 to resolve the error. See pics.

Useful info!, thanks for sharing.
Does you got "offy = 50" working?

sorry for late reply. I didn't use the the offy= param, I programmed a piece of code for my app that offsets the mesh on the Y axis so it sits on the terrain without modifting the FPE. But yes you could use defaultheight = 50 or other value, I can't recall if the offy= param actually works. It's been a while since I tried. I recall offsety= param works though.

Hi guys,

I have a model I made that is a molten lava pit (so like a well in the ground), part of it sits above ground and part under ground. The part that sits under ground is set below 0, which makes for easy placement - so you just put on the ground, lock it, and lower the terrain under it (dig a hole). the part above ground hides the edges of the hole.

I don't get any errors in test game or stand-alone, so is this bad practice?

I think he means the origin point shouldn't be below 0, you can have part of the object underground.
Or are you meaning 2 parts? Maybe its simply the fact that the original file is a float? @botr did you try to place something underground with an integer instead?
