Development -
This is a game that I'm working on with my son, something we've been wanting to do for a long time.

We're keeping the story under our hats for the moment, but keep an eye on this first post as I will put more information as we go along.

Screenshot as per the rules-

Family house model -

Started to put the house together in GG - WIP

Thanks Wolf, I like the way it looks so far, best of all everything is set to low . I'm really enjoying working with my son, The story has all been his idea so far.

Sorry there's not much content at the moment, we will be adding lots more over Christmas.

Thanks cybernescence, I hope it will turn out good but either way we're still having fun making it.

First of the main characters ( this game has 2 ) - Adam

In GG using 3rd person (basic animation at the moment) lighting still needs work, he looks a bit dark.

Wow thanks, I hope we don't disappoint.

Thanks 3com, I will post more details as we go, the story has several twists & turns and lore that you can explore in or outside of the game

The Second main character - Chloe

In GG 3rd person WIP, I will keep working on the characters until I'm happy with them.

Looks amazing! only thing that comes to mind is that the windows on house model could be little bit more transparent, and maybe not so blue.

But looks good af!

Thanks Mipastu, you're correct the windows do still need work the blue is not right but has grown on me

I've been playing with a shader for the windows that reflects light, it works but I lose the transparency.

Quick update, just to keep the thread open. We're focusing on the terrain at the moment but I though I would post WIP of some of the models we're working on.

School bus, cargo ship & crane.

Thanks the bus still needs some optimising but it's getting there.

Thanks

Thanks Wolf, we're trying, you know what it's like, you get carried away and it gets messy very quickly so we're just trying to work on one bit at a time

Not much to show for the moment so I though I would post up WIP of the crane being textured.

Completely agree. It really does set a game apart from what is seen everyday on the forums.
