Something that was a popular request on the steam boards was how to create an " All Water " map quickly in GG so I created one and was giving it away when requested ...

I mailed it to Lee who has added it to V1.133 but isn't on his update list ..
so if you check you should have an " ALLWATER.fpm " added to your map folder .. Deep enough to drown but not to deep to add terrain and sculpt .. Could be handy

Heh. GG crashed and reloaded with that map instead of the one I was working on - wondered where it came from.

(The crash was because I cocked up a shader change - not a GG issue)

Nice one.
Anyway I've some question:
If water is like the kriptonita for the player, how you work with this map?

Maybe but you would be surprised how many asked on steam for a quick way to make your map all water
Including one just 10 hours ago

I am thinking of a flooded city, perhaps by a tsunami, and all the buildings communicated to each other, by bridges, therefore the player does not need to tread the ground.

But then, how do you get the bad guys up to the buildings, walk the bridges, and chase down the player?
It's a dilemma, but I'd love to be able to make a map, just water.

also you can model your own terrain here and there, bus as entity, does not as terrain, being walkable, with rocks, trees, and so on, yeah why not!

I didn't even notice that. That's very handy. Will be great when we are able to lower and raise water. So we can add water to our existing maps that we've worked hard on ... that are too high up lol

I can guess quite a few options that I have seen on the forum .... Adding an island and building on that for example ...
Or something like the film Water World maybe ...

The map which i am currently working on is leveled just above the water plane so that it is possible to create some nice river sides with vegetation and some swampland.
However, after reloading the map i noticed some problems at the rim of the map, the same is shown on your "all water" map.

It does happen on all maps but it shouldn't. Something not tracking right on terrain save/load with editor? Can remove it in editor but comes back after a save then reload.

Cheers.
