Lifecycle[b][u][center]

Dear members of the GameGuru community,

first, I´d like to introduce myself: My name is David (well, that´s my nickname) and I am new to this forum. After having played some of the GameGuru-titles on Steam (Father´s Island, Hunted: One Step Too Far - really, really great stuff!!!), I have tried to build my own little game.

It is a short "Walking Simulator" (approx. 15 min) with a philosophical narrative. As a space traveller you will get to know the lifecycle of a planet. Just walk around, find the keycard, and enter the next location...
As to the story: It is good not to know too much about it - in order to enjoy the experience

Here are some screenshots:

Maybe you want to give it a try and leave a comment here or on my GameJolt-Page. That would be awesome!!!

Best wishes to all game enthusiasts and developers out there!
David

Thank you very much for your kind feedback

I tried a few text-to-speech-programmes in order to find a voice which is reminiscent of Hal 9000 - so that there is still a human voice, but at the same time also a slightly uncanny mood...

I thought Zabaware TTS Reader to be the best choice...

Thank you very much for playing !!! Yes - the focus was clearly on creating the atmosphere and telling a short story about life and space...

Make use or normal maps and specular maps etc. And it will look way better. Also lights and light mapping. Good start.

Hey - really glad you liked it I´ve got some ideas for a new project - but I still have to find the time for it, because it will require a bit of programming work...
