Challenge accepted!

Clearly not the same, I messed up the position of the mountains in relation to the immovable in game sun. Results would have been much better otherwise. But not bad for 20 minutes of screwing around.

Mostly it's just difficulty setting the bloom settings via reshade. If I can get the bloom working, it'd be pretty close.

Great work !!
Love the map as well .... Alter the gravity and speed of the player and there could be a game in there

So the blue light was simple:

You take the blue flare from I think it's megapack 02's decal list, place it high, stretch it vertically ONLY and set the bloom settings WAY WAY UP with some lensflare from reshade to really cement the deal. Basically what you're doing is utilizing bloom as a secondary light source in an offbeat way to create what looks like a light source but is really just bloom doing it's thing with scattering something bright (in this case, a decal).

Max settings in GG for specular and bloom.

Wow.. so these pics look vastly diff than my super fancy benq monitor at home vs when I'm at work.
They're so DARK. I'm going to need to redo my screenshot for later.

I actually am using VGA, if you can believe it. It's just it has these spiffy color profiles and what not and I guess it pretties it up more than I realized.

Here is some more testing
The second image, inside the base, seems like the light is turned off, but when i closing in it turns on. Why is that?

Dynamic light? If so, are there others nearby? Try setting it to static and baking the sucker.

You can only have two active dynamic lights at a given time. So it will get screwy and start disabling them as you approach/go away from them if you have more than 2.
