Not sure where to ask this question on the forums, but how can I achieve the same sell shaded black outline effect thats on some of the objects in the cartoon assets? I was assuming this was a shader but seems like it has something to do with the actual .X model ? As I previewed their .X models and they seem to have the outlines in the DirectX preview window as well.

I'm hoping to make more assets in this style to compliment other projects people may be working on and a possible one of my own.

An alternative without editing the .x models is to use the AAA lighting effect released by Nomad_Soul. Here's what the effect looks like:
