Ok so for the last 4 weeks I have gone back to my old "Raven Elite Force " memories and decided to create a STNG Tribute map ..
Most of the time spent was actually creating a module pack rather than a duplicate set used in the series ( which was quite small )

Because of GG interior lighting still not being amazing I decided to base ship with minimum power and lighting just to blag it really.
Hope you like it

WOW, That was awesome! I'm an old fan of TNG, and that was just great. I am not familiar with "Raven Elite Force" but was that built using segments? Regardless, just awesome.

Very nice mate.

Funny you should post this now, because this is what i'm working on at the moment while bored at work lol

Still trying to decide which of the two models to keep, straight walls or curved walls.

Or I could go for Borgified ...

The interiors look great here. Are they actually from Elite Force? That was one of the few FPS games I have enjoyed and actually played all the way through!

Thanks for the feedback guys ....I really enjoyed making this one ...took me back

No these I created as modules so I could do a custom layout ... or go back to it later and maybe expand it.
I do have all my EF maps still but they were created in GTK Radiant so although not impossible to export it was quicker to make new
Its not as accurate as it looks .... Corners are wrong ... Turbo lift isn't right ... but for a demo I allowed myself a few indiscretions...
One segment used many times goes a long way and its not really that many altogether

I did use a few of my old EF Enterprise D textures though .... Just for a bit of nostalgia

Old Elite Force Map

In that case, even better! Really nice job making your models look so Star Trek like.

I quite like the Borg look to be honest ...
I did consider that for the holodeck program but really didn't have the time to pursue it ..
The straight walls look better to me ...
I was also going to stick to straight corridors as bends looked really awkward but studying a few pics I realised it was actually a bit of an illusion and really easy to convert a straight segment to a bend

Does the material index work yet so they can spark instead of bleed?

Though I guess technically they would be 95% flesh rather than entirely robotic.

That would have looked really cool and I have the SFX for it
The problem is how far to go for a 3 minute tribute demo.
I couldn't even make a game and give it away without breaking some copyright law but I really enjoyed making it and learnt a lot in the process.

Here's how the corridors look walking around them. I still need to add detail to the ceiling, and finish the junctions, but i'm pretty happy with how they're looking at the moment.

Thanks guys, the models were just a bit of fun, I wanted to practice making illuminated models so threw them together, they actually only took about twenty minutes to put together
