GameGuru used to have this habit of crashing if I left it running idle for to long, walk away for an hour or more and come back to a restore session crash..... last night I had to run out, I had the PC running with GameGuru open and I went out about 10pm made a night of it crashed at a mates and got home a little after 2pm today ... PC still running and GameGuru patiently waiting for my return ...... and no crash, GG was ready to go, something in a recent update has made GG very stable and I for one an very grateful because I rushed out and had lots of unsaved changes that I was convinced would be lost but was not .....

is this a result of the expansion of Lua's memory?

whatever the reason I could have kissed Lee Bamber this afternoon when I was able to hit the save button after 16 hours of idle time! lol

I've noticed I get the "time out crash" much less frequently also, but I still get it. 16 hours, though? That's amazing!

I had , after restarting GG a flickering screen in the editor. GG restart and it was over. You can not say anything after a few years of development of GG , it just takes time . It is Microsoft not yet succeeded after more than 20 years to create a stable operating system .lol

ha watched that episode of IT crowd the other day.

No I still get GG restart messages and does very odd things occasionally but more on the 32 bit Win10. Seems better on 64bit Win10 maybe of which I have 12GB but GG caps at 4GB.

Just got back from the shops and found GG had crashed with a fragmentation error. Probably because I left it doing a scan and forgot I even had GG running. Not sure what my default settings are but imagine the defragmentation flag would help here. GG is a lot more stable than it was 12 months ago, very rare I get a crash in normal use, apart from when scripting.
