Hey Guys,

When I place a triggerzone and assign textinzone to it, it shows the text you typed in. So, now my question:
Is it possible to change the look of that Text? Maybe to a downloaded font or something like that?
Any help would be much apreciated.

Regards, Duchenkuke

You can find the raw font bitmaps used by GameGuru here ("GameGuru\Files\fontbank") though there is no non-file approach to changing the text font at the moment, and if you replace the fonts mentioned, remember to keep a copy of your GameGuru folder as a backup as during the next update these files are overwritten with the latest official fonts. You can of course use the new Image and Sprite LUA commands to override the default text system altogether but this would require some scripting know-how!

@Lee,

Would this too much to ask you to add French language accents ?

I know that for you it's not important, but ask a French man... Two words written in exactly the same way, with and without accent, doesn't mean the same thing ...

I have the right to dream, isn't it ?

I think you might want to email Lee that request, as it is very important. Lee seems to browse these forums about once a week, but it seems he only looks at the most recent. By the time he looks again next week, this thread might be way down on the page or even on page 2!

I understand about the importance of the accents, or any kind of punctuation. I don't speak French, but in English, the two sentences:

It's time to eat, Grandma!

and

It's time to eat Grandma!

take on two completely different meanings due to the presence or lack of one comma!

@ Jerry,

I understand the problem of punctuation (your example with Grandma is understandable in the same way in French... and it's funny !)

Even worse in Spanish ! some accents like "í, ú, ó, á, ñ" and in French like "é, è, ê, à, ù" and more ...

I will send the request to Lee soon,

Thanks !
