There is no such thing as clothes for the character creator.

They are not clothes, they are full character bodies with separate heads, facial hair, and head attachments (hats and hair).

I don't think there have been any made because of this, that and that the character creator is pretty much still in the experimental stage and will be changed a lot in the future so we're not risking making stuff that might not work sometime in the future.

You can, however, edit the textures for each characters and save alternate versions of them with the new clothes. It's a little more annoying with character creator, because the character creator stuff is in a different folder. There may be an easier way to do this, but you can make a duplicate of the model, rename it, then copy and rename the textures accordingly, and save the edited textures to the copy. Then you have your own version of the character creator model that you like. You can't do too much. Some clothing is shaped and will show through a simple paint-over, but you can paint holes in clothes, change long sleeves to short by panting skin on the arms, etc. Basically, you can do a lot of style changing and re-texturing of what is already there. And you can accomplish a lot more than you'd think, just doing that.

I actualy tried doing that with a retexture of the barb helm and it wouldnt stick. GG kept going back to the default texture.

Hmm. I did it with the skeleton retextures I posted here. I haven't tried it in a while though. Maybe it's something in the x file. They often point to textures. You could try importing the changed version to see if it overwrites that. But you should just have to change the names of the new textures to go with the copied and renamed .x file and then make sure it's reflected in the file's fpe.

Hi Wolverine,

I would suggest going to the community feature vote page , where you can suggest a feature at the bottom of the page, and you should suggest that they add clothes and other stuff to the Character Creator. https://www.game-guru.com/feature-vote

I recently made these same kind of suggestions (for clothes and stuff).

You should make the suggestion also so it comes from more than just 1 person like me.

Who knows... It might help... and in the future we might actually get this kind of feature in the Character Creator.

Have you checked out this new tool FBX2GG. It can take character models from Mixamo and Make-Human and add GG animations and make them work in GG.

Check it out here - https://forum.game-guru.com/thread/215728

This looks really great to me.

Actually Make-Human hasn't been tested, but it works mainly with Mixamo and Autodesk Character Generator, FBX and GG animations.

Make Human should work fine with a little bit of fiddling. If you create a character with Make Human and it doesn't work because of the bones then all you need to do is log into Mixamo and click the upload button, upload the Make human character and re-rig it from there, it takes some time to match the bones but it should work in FBX2GG fine after that.

Does anyone know whether you are allowed to use Makehuman characters in commercial games without paying for a license or royalties?

Going by the info on the website I would say yes you can do what you like ...

The only person ever to get all his work done by "Friday" was Robinson Crusoe..

How do you get more clothes on MakeHuman characters? Because the MakeHuman I have has about 6 items of clothing with no customization, that's why I don't bother with it.

It doesn't always work, mixamo is a bit hit an miss with its rigging when it comes to non-fuse models, but it does work some times.
