Could someone please explain what these mean and how to use them.

Many thanks

As far as I know they don't do anything yet, I think they are just placeholders for future properties. I've messed with them a bit and saw no difference in behavior. That was a while back, though (Reloaded) so they may do something now. (?)

Yes, they do not change the physics properties of objects right now.

Just to let you know for when they are implemented They are pretty self explanatory really and mean what they say.

Physics weight gives you the option of setting your items mass. A really heavy full barrel would take more to push than a empty one. You could use the physics weight to simulate the difference.

Physics friction is for different surfaces and such. A high friction would simulate as an example, sand and a low friction one would be like ice.

Very useful stuff. I certainly am looking forward to when we can use this sort of thing in our projects.

Thanks. I'll look forward to using them when implemented.

Unbelievable that you can not change the mass or friction of an object!
You should be able to change the weight of a ragdoll based on the size of your character.
The coffee is lovely dark and deep, and I have code to write before I sleep.

In the next version (V1.131) the weight and friction has been fixed work for all objects, and the weight value in the character properties will control the mass (weight) of the ragdoll.

I'm happy with the way GG is going of late. We're seeing some nice little extra's which make many things possible that weren't before, or at least not easily. These physics options should really add some depth and game-play elements that are sorely missing at the moment.
