Anyone know a program so I can extract and convert unitypackages into X Files? And or OBJ or FBX files?

With the free version of Unity you can import the unitypackages. When you import them, Unity extracts all the media within the unitypackage and drops it in some folders under the project folder. You can take the models, textures, etc. from there.

Usually all the models within an unitypackage are in FBX format.

well I downloaded the unitypacker program (thanks Mariokiki for the hint ) and got the player fron Angrybots into FM after exporting from 3DS max but have texture problem where the player isn't textured due to missing/incorrect texture pathname. But will figure it out somehow, interesting though. Will have to play around with all this when get more time.

here is the link to unity unpacker if anyone needs it: http://upu.derfunk.com/
