I recently saw a video made with GG about how to make a crash bandicoot clone. This is something I've wanted to try for a long time. Had some spare time last weekend and banged out a few assets that are Crash-esque. I don't plan to make a full game with these so I will be releasing them for free when the pack is done. I have better animations being worked on for the player model; right now I am using an altered Todd skeleton from the easter pack. I'm hoping for a close combat spin attack to be added as well as some bouncing on enemies heads (not promising). Here is a video of what I have now. Enjoy-

Brilliant !!
Well done ... Just for a second when I saw the video thumbnail I thought it was a real old classic style game.

Thanks everyone for the great comments.
New animations are being worked on as we speak, I just hope I can find someone with enough scripting knowledge to help me get the spin doing damage. A head bounce that causes damage would be great as well. It's been done in 3d game maker by TGC so I wonder how that would translate to lua commands.

Very good, it looks very cool, I think he should be running by default though, kinda feels weird to see him just walking the entire level (I believe you can then remove the shift run via the setup.ini)

The scripts would be very simple, just check the animation frames and the distance.
