Hello everyone, and happy holidays!

The gameplay video corresponding to the tutorial level, although the game is much faster and frenzy, I think the tutorial would be much better at understanding the game mechanics. I still have to add dialogues, skills, levels ups and many others. I currently working on the Level ups! (Someone said perks/card system...)

Fast-paced combat! Dozens of perks, weapons and enemies! Level ups! Badass bosses! Angry chickens! Persistent death! My Little Apocalypse World is a combination of First Person Shooter and Rogue-LITE. The game focuses on fast-paced first person shooting, with an old-school vibe, and updated handling and game mechanics. FPS and RPG/Roguelike elements are added into the mix with lots of content to discover.

PLEASE keep in mind that this is a little indie game with smaller budget ( 0.00 $). It is not seeking a great graphics, sound, OST or a great story to tell. This game simply trying that you to have fun.

I'll leave you with the video... 1080p * 60fps * real-time lighting * and highest/max settings.

Bye!

This is seriously, seriously impressive. I'm not even sure how you did a lot of what you did in the way you made it happen.

I saw some of your indy notes on new enemies and what not back in July back on various sites and was happy to see you'd not given up on what will surely be the best GG game out there for a long time; I'm really happy to see you're still at it.

Well done and keep it up

A step above your FPSC projects..which where already fantastic. You know how I feel about your projects. Let me just add that I strongly feel that GameGuru needs these kinds of projects backing its reputation!

Errrmmm, WOW!!!

Very cool, great job - the only negative thing I have to say about it is - I can't buy it yet!

This should be on Game Guru front page - excellent example of what you can do with a tool like GG - even if there is still lots to be added to the engine.

Nice job dimoxinil, real nice.

This is so cool, original, and as said before, really shows what can be done with GG even at it's current stage of development. One outstanding feature I think is that it doesn't scream "Made with Game Guru", except, of course, that opening splash screen that screams "Powered by Game Guru"

I like how "the easy game maker" tagline was not included in the splash screen. I feel it can hurt the professionalism of your work on the actual game you've worked hard on; with that tagline there.

You excel at presentation and have without a doubt made one of the best examples of what Game-Guru is capable of. I'm sure with the addition of "not dying in water", "AI navigating stairs" and "more than 2 sounds per entity" you can do a lot more.

Keep up the great work!

OK. I just watched that video again. Are you sure it was made with GameGuru? I mean, GG is in early development and what you've produced looks like near-commercial quality to me!

not trying to mimic a blockbuster
In my opinion. It is important that a indie game has its own personality. On the one hand, It's one way to attract attention, on the other hand, It's a way of covering up a shortage of funds.

The Game Creators should take a look at this.
TGC team supported the game within its means and I think they do well.

I'm really happy to see you're still at it.
I've been focusing now on game development. I will return to the game promotion as soon as possible. It is important to know about the game (possibly the most important.) Unfortunately, not doing real well.

Not even sure how you did half of it
I worked a year on this game, and I will probably need one additional year to place on steam early access.

Outstanding work
This time I've made it through to the end., you know what I mean

the music for some reason reminds me of Giants Citizen Kabuto
That's a great game and great ost. The music score of my game is by Scott Buckley.

GameGuru needs these kinds of projects backing its reputation!
This is what worries me the most.
In my opinion. Right now, the games created with Gameguru had a very bad image and believe that this is going to be a big handicap for the game. The game runs the riskt o be judged by the engine and not because of their content. Well.. The Cards I've Been Dealt.

Time and Effort that makes the difference
No doubt, I'm convinced There is someone here with a whole lot more talented than I. Gameguru developers do not have enough time to to work on their projects.

example of what you can do with a tool like GG
GameGuru is a good engine but it could be even better, if TGC get it right this year. I think that next year will mark a turning point for Gameguru.

Powered by Game Guru
Yes, it does have a ring to it, doesn't it?
jejeje maybe I overstepped.

it should be a default anim in GG
I have no objections. The TGC team can use the intro anim or the full video for any form of promotion. In this forum or in Steam or elsewhere.
If GameGuru sells well, we will have better game engine.

Deceptively cartoony
Well, I have to admit that the cartoon of the game might be a little risky. I just hope I'm right about this.

"the easy game maker"
Well, Personally... I prefer the RPG maker slogan
Simple enough for a child; powerful enough for a developer.

I believe you, but you're pushing the boundaries
It's very possible, I had to change a lot of game mechanics because the game engine... errr... uhhh... is not versatile enough.

I was wondering what was happening with this!
The game is more alive as ever, I hope to be able to update the game content more regularly.

Love seeing stuff like this on the boards here
I think the year ahead is going to be an exciting one. The game projects evolved, together with GameGuru. There are games on the WIP forum with a lot of potential.

GG game that "should" be on Steam Green Light
By the end of next year, Well, I hope so.

Thanks to all for your support!

Dimoxinil - don't worry. Your product speaks for itself.
As you might have seen before you put your video up - you were like 4500/31000 on indy db.
Now you're 154/31000.

People know quality when they see it. You have a good, simple concept, clean execution, custom graphics, and solid level design.

The game looks fun, looks interesting, and frankly looks very well made. It's clear the level of attention you've put forth towards making a product you really enjoy. I respect that, as does everyone else here I'm sure. We support you as a community and look forward to your continued work.

I hate to chime in and echo what everyone else has already said, but, you have done a tremendous job with this.

I love everything about it.

You know exactly how I feel about this game. I think I have made that clear from your WIP thread.......

The HUD's you have made, fit the game very well and it all seems to flow seamlessly. It shows what hard work and determination can achieve. I wish you the very best with this! When you are ready for beta testers, you know where I am!

Cheers

Jay.

I am difficult to please and can be harsh when I see a game that is not worthy of a Steam Release. Hell, forget Steam, I just look at the game and think would I consider buying it? In this case I probably would, and that is good work because I am a really, really picky buyer, although I am a little biased as a GG user It's great to see someone spend some time on a title and get it right! It goes to show, spend some time on something and you will get a good results (unless you want GTA 5 of course, we can but wish). I'm sure this would get quite a few fans if expanded properly.

Currently I feel GG has a way to go, but for small games like this it can cope well. Really this is the way to go with GG titles at the moment. I'm always looking at making something fairly realistic looking, and I probably always will be, but in honesty this style is far more suited and far more likely to get noticed!

Again, fantastic work and I look forward to seeing it closer to completion! This is the sort of thing that deserves being on Steam, it looks way better than other titles I could mention! You can see it has been worked on, rather than thrown together, and that makes all the difference!

Hi!

Thanks for your comments and feedback !

you're making progress with it.
I've made progress, but there is so much left to do...
It is clear to me that my next game... I won't be doing it alone.

E.L.E never got released. If you still have any playable content please upload!
ufff... E.L.E and belong to Moonbite games. Sorry, I can't do anything about that... I'll speak to them about it.

We support you as a community and look forward to your continued work.
Thank you very much for your kind words.

When you are ready for beta testers, you know where I am!
Consider it done.

I consider buying it? In this case I probably would
That's the best thing than can be said about a game, thank you very much.

Hello, everybody!

First off, I would like to thank all the signs of support.

you can do with some imagination and Game Guru
We're only limited by our own imaginations. jejeje... and by the budget.

brilliant stuff
I believe the game content is adequate and effective, but It's always a treat when someone ike your work. Thanks.

And only you!
Yes a one man army... but next game I hope to form a small team.

how long did it take you to do this, and do you think it would take longer with unreal or cry or unity?
I carry more than one Year working on this. And I'll need a another year for the early access... the thought of that just given me a heart attack.
I've worked with unity an unreal. But I've done nothing with the cry engine. If I had done the game in unreal and unity ... I just would have taken a lot longer, it'll take me at least a twice as much time but ... This would also have great advantages ... A whole lot more options, A whole lot more options, Graphics far superior to GameGuru, more distribution platform, etc...
Each engine have their advantages and disadvantages. You must select the right engine to best meet your needs.

Thank you very much for all your comments.

Very well done...you already have a better engine than when you started this, with graphic updates and other new features to come you will likely pick up the pace as it goes along.

It's work like this that promotes positive comparisons with other engines and I expect to see more of that in future....really I do
